I dunno, i have seen it in blockbusters tho
I'd assume it did make money, since Tom is able to now give away money to random people that rate on movies.

No, that's not right at all. You don't understand what the give-aways really represent. They make everyone submit better flash, and other flash artists submit to newgrounds, instead of their own sites. They make much more off the increased traffic generated by the give-aways, than they lose from them.

Thats besides the point, I want to know if their console video game did more than take up a year and a half of their time and get them hella respect.

Them dudes be looking at they mom's turkey on Thanksgiving like 'The fuck is this bullshit?'
If there is as many Contra fans out there that i think there is then yes it did make profit.

That's NG money, I doubt he pays for it out of his own pocket.
Anyway, Tom has just bought an office, and The Behemoth are making a second video game, so it's more than likely the game made a healthy profit.

yep, just like it, but with awesome laser weapons that scream "pitchoo pitchoo" when you shoot them!
Contra's alright. Get Double Dragon instead. I wasted so much time on that game. I also bought AH, mainly because it's good in its own right. The fact I'm a side scrolling fan helps.
