For the OldSchoolers..

Being that I signed up in 2000 and I lerk around the BBS I see that there are only but a few OldSchoolers left.

One must ask them self....

Where did they go?
Why did they go?
Did it invole a sexy party?...

I honestly don't know but hey if your an oldschooler you should post more so I don't feel so alone amoung the youngin's....

I imagine some folks phase in and out of newgrounds just as much as their interest phased in and out of other things, over time.

I wasn't to big on the BBS. My main focus was on the IRC chat. Plus I voted so my votes show I was involed for the most part. But over the summer I got more drawn into the BBS and I post BUT I only post in fourms that are interesting....which alot are not.

It frightens me to think that I'm middle-school now. I recall the days of having my opinion instantly invalidated due to only having signed up within the past 3 months. I miss those days, it was back when I fit the role perfectly and actually cared when people found me unfit to listen to since I'm not the pinnacle of reasoning that I once found myself to be. Humbling, but humble is boring.

A lot of them still come 'round here though. Just not as often as they used to. Real life catched up, I guess. I'm sure it will for me too some day.

Not oldschool per-say, but I have been visiting NG since about 2000. I never had a reliable internet access from 1999-2002, so pardon me, but I have proof of being around since then, look at my brothers account.

Wow i been coming to this site since 1998 - 2000 and i never opened an account until 2003 and i didnt really start depositing until a long time later, damn i still think about how my level and ranks would have been if i made moves a long time ago, but things happen and look, i am here now, having fun and chattin with cool peoples.......nuttin wrong with that in my opinion......

About the older 'Ground memebers - well they were a bit older now and things change in their lives, they probably got girl/boy friends now, other might be engaged and others married. They are more lookin at their careers, taking care of themselves and others for that matter, i know that personally. I had to take a time away from here for things in my personal life that needed to be taken care of. So things change but life still goes onward........
