see, I get what Xfactor is saying; With AFD4.2, there can be more coauthors, and more people getting credit. but with that, there is that feeling that "you arent good enough" for the real AFD4. So .... im throwing this out. Depending on the events (If there is an 'AFD4.2', their coauthors), im thinking i might leave. I know its not gonna be like a staggering blow, like if Mp3, Topz, or Neo Left, but...idk, this is crap, and I really dont want to put up with it. so, ill see what happens to decide.

as far as I know, the pieces that didn't make in AFD4, are out not only because of quality, but because of not fiting in.Well, let me explain better....
I even argued with logo, there were some movies that i would like to see in, but weren't. Logo explained that they weren't because he couldn't find a place to put them. That's why logo was planning to make a second one, it would be almost as good as AFD4. just to give you guys an example, barbeq's decline piece was great, it was co-author-quality, but didn't make in just because there was no place for it. So, what I mean is: AFD4.2 wouldn't be a "oh, let's make a ''special' afd4. 2 for them''
it would be more like , "shit i can't find a place for all these pieces, let's make an AFD4.2 so we won't be unfair with all these good jobs"... and btw, radioactive, x_factor, mushimushi, i think your pieces rock.

I offer to make a second addition of AFD4 for you guys who:

1) Didn't do as well as everyone else.
2) I simply couldn't find a place to put it.
3) THE FILESIZE FOR THAT PIECE IS ALREADY 7MB!!!

And you guys COMPLAIN!?! I would NOT call AFD4.2 "AFD5" because it's just the pieces that didn't fit right with AFD4...We're looking at being JUST under 10mb overall...and you guys wanna cram in more? It's not going to happen guys.

I heard "They try so hard, but they just aren't as good as who's in AFD4." Guys...i have to select what i think is the BEST work to put in. If i put EVERYONE'S work in, we'd have a 20mb file, and a bunch of confused people saying "Wow...i just saw some great animations, and some really n00b animations..."

SO. If you DON'T want to be in AFD4.2 because it's so "Humiliating" or whatever, tell me, and i'll delete your file off my computer so we don't have any problems. I mean...i try to make you guys happy by not letting your work go to waste...and allowing 4 MORE co-author spots by releasing a 4.2...I just...don't know what you were thinking Radioactive...Want to hear me [rant]?

Hey, radioactive! Your piece wasn't NEAR the quality that deserves to be shown with Neo and Topz and Barbeq! I mean, seriously, you have a badly-drawn emo guy sitting in a badly-drawn corner, get smashed by a badly-drawn stickfigure with a sledgehammer...then the badly-drawn stickfigure who smashed him walks toward the camera, showing his badly-drawn face.

Well, i must say, that Trippy, Barbeq's other piece, Mooshd, MushiMushi, x_Factor did good enough pieces to be associated with AFD, and i was going to show my respects by giving them an ADDITIONAL release...but...if you guys don't want it, whatever.

I just want to get my oppinions out there...

1. Logo deserves our respect and has worked harder than any one else in this collaboration. Not only did he have the hard work of mixing the movies and making the disclaimer but Logo took the time to keep this collabortation under control and organized. I think Logo has justly earned his place as author.

2. Is that the final final version of the movie or is it the pre other feature version. I was expecting to see that awesome main menu in this thing and some preloader (even if its not the preloader I made) because of the filesize.

3. A second submission with the less awesome movies is a good idea. I think it will be good.

Well, thats my say on these things.

What would youall think If I took it further and spent a month (or more) on it?

Adding upgrades, guns, and a whole lot of other things.

I would improve dramatically on the artwork.

There would also be a selection of vehicles, charactors, and levels.

There are some more things too.

Would you all approve? If you do you can help with anything you would like. It wont be out for a LONG time probably.

I dont have enough time to type the rest but I will add the rest later.

I would make sure it was completely awesome before any submitting or what not.

To answer the questions of "Is that the final...FINAL FINAL?" no...it's what's going to go into the "Watch it" section. The preloader, main menu, and game will all be in there as planned, don't worry all-yall ;-)

We're working on the site right now...it'll be up by the end of the day.

Monday the 21st is looking like the most likely debut. We'll feel it out, and make sure we don't have too harsh of competition before we release it. But, bet on a late Monday release.

1) Damn you Logo, you're "this is definatly NOT AFD4" almost made me not click it! Cuz I was kinda curious at what it wóuld be, but damn, I had another 5 or so pages to read :/. Anyway, I'm glad I did click it :D

2) Wow, I didn't expect it too be that short. I mean, okay, people had really big filesizes, but this was over so fast I was like "wait, did I just see AFD4???".

3) Didn't expect to be in there, in comparison to some other guys that didn't make it, mine wasn't really all that great. But I guess it fitted with the piece, and of course I'm glad I ám in there (not to be a jerk to the others)

4) Logo, stay as author. Mp3, stay as co-author. Make your appologies, and there's no harm done. Having the option to either have no Logo or no Mp3, well I really wouldn't want to choose. You both deserve to be in, and you both contribute to the overall greatness of AFD. So no bitching, start kissing ass, and start kicking ass together.

5) Radioactive and X-factor, I can understand where you're coming from, but when you started working you knew there was going to be a chance that you wouldn't be in. Then the pieces from Topz and Neo, and everyone was saying how the filesize was going trough the roof, I mean, I kept thinking to myself "you may not be in, so don't get too encouraged, but if you're not in, it's not a waste, because you've learned from making it".
Now Logo wants to make an AFD4.2, and I think that's a great idea. And we all know Topz, Neo and Mp3 did a FANTASTIC job, right? So Logo knew he had to put those in. Then he probably went to step 2, which is picking parts that would fit with those 3. That you didn't make in only means you're not as good as those 3, and that shouldn't be a big surprise. Some guys who are great authors and made almost as good pieces as those 3 weren't in either. Why? Cuz they didn't fit in. NOT because they weren't as good, or "almost" as good. They just didn't fit with that. 4.2 is a great idea, so don't start bitching about being almost as good. If everyone on the world would bitch about them not being 'as good' as others, it would become a total anarchy. In the end, Logo has to pick something. And he's sacrificing time, effort, and BA to making a 4.2 .. But yeh, if you feel like you're 'less' if you're in 4.2 than step out. It's your choice. (sorry, this may have sounded pretty bad-mouthed or discriminating or w/e, but I swear that wasn't how I wanted to make it sound. I'm just not as good with words as I'd want to be, so don't think I'm telling anyone that they're being whiny or something, I'm just saying to get along and accept what happens)

6) Logo, I don't think Radioactive's part was as bad as that guy you mentioned. His part really sucked monkeyballs, and he was bitched on because he didn't put much effort into it in the first place. Although Radioactive's part máy not be as good as some others, he did put alot of effort into it. That's why we bitched on the other guy, and not on Radioactive. And, Radioactive part wás pretty good.

7) That preview, was that just the 'main movie' stuff? Cuz, where are the profiles, the game, the preloader, the stickers thing?

8) Again, no hard feelings guys, I'm just sad about this. I mean, I come on here, read trough 7 or so pages, see a preview ( ? ) of AFD4, and I'm really excited. Then I read on and I see two goddamn flamewars here. That really makes me sad, and I just want AFD4 to be really cool. I mean, if it was me having to choose if I was in 4.2 I would 'yes', cuz atleast I'd be in there somewhere. And Logo, calm down man, bitching back won't happen, and that choosing between you and Mp3 is just bullshit. Far as I can tell from mp3's posts, he was just asking, and even though he was a little bitchy about it, he would still like to have you as author and himself as co-author.

9) Mp3, don't worry about us, man. We read the rules, and we know what's going on. From what I know, Logo hasn't made an own part in AFD2 and 3 either, cuz it wasn't needed. And he's not doing that cuz he's being a lazy bitch either. So we all knew what was going to happen, if you consider it 'taking credit' or not. And we agreed to that. In the long run, do these petty arguements really even matter? No. They just ruin it all. So cut him some slack. And Logo, don't explode on him, it was just a question.

10) Again, sorry if this was a bit harsh to anyone. That isn't my intention I just want to see AFD4, AFD4.2, and any future AFD's to be as awesome as humanly possible! Cuz in the first place, I'm still a fan of the series ;).

Anyway, so I forgot to say something in my overly long rant: GODDAMN AFD4 OWNS SO MUCH!!! Neo, your part alone beats anything I've seen on Newgrounds. It could be number 1 on the top 50. It definatly beats littlefoot, even though I loved littlefoot. And Topz .... dude, OMFG, I just .. I can't describe it ... It's so incredibly good .. It beats anything on newgrounds, animated stuff on tv, ... It's just incredible man.... <3

You know what? i think Logo is just on the rag, and we should just all shut up, go to the AFD forums, and let him finish his work. whenever he gets around to "AFD4.2" of "AFD5" or whatever he decides to call it, we can come back, but for now, i thin kwe all just need to chill. and besides, this collab, PAGE 90! thats rediculous! so, i think we all need to just go away for like two or three days. and come back later.

Theres no way a movie like this is 7mb in filesize.

When you export a movie logo.

an it goes to the menu to press the OK for exporting.

Click audio stream and set it to 48kb stereo
Click event stream and do the same

Then below them there is a box that says "override sound settings" click it so there is a check mark in it.

It should cut around 3MB off your filesize

Well seeing that I have been left behind, forgotten, I'll just ask a short question and get out of here.

Logo, if you haven't started mixing yet I would like to touch up my piece again. Make it longer and such.
