It only lagged at one time, for about 2 and a half seconds for me. So I don't think it would be a big problem. As for the effects, you could just remove the tweens and put in keyframes in every frame, remove the blur and glow and set alpha levels every frame. Yes, it takes far more time, but it doesn't lag as much.
