Haha. I totally agree with Neo in this. I think you should pass this to someone you think may be able to do the work. Of course, no one will do the mixing as great as you did it Logo. =] the last three AFD's rocked because of that. Also the quality of the animation.

No Logo = No same AFD.

Guys, thanks a bunch...but i don't think that someone else taking charge would be all that bad. I'm actually aching to see if someone else could have been doing a better mixing job this whole time :)

The person that would have to take over for me would have to be:
1) Someone you all liked
2) Someone who is dedicated to making this kick ass
3) Someone who has the time, and the ability to make it kick ass
4) Someone who kicks ass

You guys got anyone in mind? I dunno what Neo thinks, but i wouldn't mind seeing him take over if he's up to it. Topz would be my other pick, but he says he's ready to start doing his own thing...

If anyone out there WANTS to be in Logo's shoes for future AFD's...speak up.

well i am very grateful at first that logo thought of the idea of AFD's because before then, i hadnt even made an animated flash other than crappy FBFs, i think we will all grieve on logos leavingification but if there should be a replacement i would say Topz. Either him or neo, i think both could steer us in a good direction.

How bout having, instead of one person take over, have like the main heavy hitters of AFD group together. So we'll have more than one guy in case someone cant do it, something came up, not enough time or w/e the reason. voting for someone may be goood 2

Well, I also have those four but the first I think. There are a few people that hate me for no actual reason. =]

And, I had two of my movies deleted for they had 2.50 and lower. So the only movie i have right now is with 3.29. =] And im proud of it.

I do think no one will do a better mixing than logo does.

And, If I had to choose, it would most likely be between Neo and Topz. Again.

I'd say myself, but im not much of a leader. XD

And, I also like Spartan's idea, its not that bad. But from the point of view he had it...

I don't think AFD will ever be the same. However, I think our best bet for replacement would be Neo. I like the way he fits his movies together better than Tops, even though I think Tops has seriously kick ass fbf animation. Since the job is about fitting stuff together, I vote Neo.

That's not a bad idea...if you look back to when i listed who all was in AFD4, you'll see my list of who i think's the "Heavy Hitters"

What happens if the person you vote for, doesn't want to do it? :-) Looks like Neo & Topz are the most likely candidates, but Topz said before that he couldn't, and we haven't heard from Neo yet ;-) Neo would be a GREAT replacement...but i don't know if he wants the job.

The way i see it...whoever takes over gets a FOR SURE award for AFD5, maybe front page, and just has to deal with the easy task of figuring out where everything should go...seems like a fair deal to me ;-) I've created a monster.

As much as i want to see how this thing goes without me...it doesn't look like anyone's going to step up to the plate...If no one does, i'm up for waiting a bit before we do AFD5...i'll come back, but the problem is...when?

All in all, i would LOVE to see someone else take charge...but it just doesn't look like it will happen...just here to say, that eventually the Logo will be back in action.

I'm surprised no one voted for the "AFD Day" option...i think it'd be cool to see the portal flooded by people who liked/hated us :-)

actually, id say just take a break from AFD and have everyone comeback with fresh ideas and entusiasm, b/c i know that it was hard for me to rush between afd3 and not complete, but it was easy enough to just finish it for 4. but i think it would be good to have a short hiatus. OoOoOoO...busting out my big fancy words. but yeah, you have cranke out what, almost four good collabs, and a movie of your own in about a month and a half, if i am not mistaken. i think you the most deserve a break. and also, taking the break would also give people like fetus time to work on little bits of a flash, so he could maybe be able to comeback next round too. just a thought. we would also need to put a "coming soon!" on teh button on your menu for when you click on teh AFD5 Topic button. :) and then when we are ready, update it so that you can go to it via clicking teh button.
