Must be because the military has all the guns they could ask for. I suppose that's the drawback of living in a country where most people can't get guns, it means we're fucked if the country gets overrun with zombies.

Yeah, but the most you're allowed is double-barreled, where you reload after every 2 shots. Not much good for shooting loads of them. And you need a license for them anyway, and most people wouldn't be able to get one.
