Some chavs mugged me today! I'm angry! I normally dont have anything against chavs but, this is a fact, everytime a random person randomly comes up to me on the street asking for money, it is always a chav. Im not saying i dont like chavs but i want ur opinion and whether chaviness and mugging have any connection.

PS. I have never been mugged by a goth

No, go to www.chavscum.co.uk to learn more about what chavs are. (Note however that chavscum is supposed to be funny, it does not show the seriousness of the problem of chav culture).

As far as i'm aware their is no US equivelent to a chav. The closest thing I suppose would be your "gangstas".

I don't really know much about US wiggers, but how violent are they? Would they beat an old woman up just so they can get some fags? Do they vandalise bus shelters purely because they can? A chav is defined far more by attitude/behaviour than it is by clothing/culture.

I meant in the violence aspect, some of the bigger chav gangs in london and other large citys are very "gangsta" like.
