The virus's name is "w32.yaha.F@mm" it has a very rare likelyhood and no additional information is available, I believe this is an email virus, do not accept any messages from the sender laura.gomez@home.hl block this sender immediately as it was setting of my norton antivirus software, and everytime i would delete a message from this sender i would immediately get another one in its place with a different subject line all 'forwards' and all the same size and it was one of 4 subjects

I'm doing this as a public service and/or an advanced warning for everyone who reads this please help keep this topic alive so people read it, i caught this virus before it could do any damage on my computer and im hoping i can help prevent a computer epidemic.

People who send viruses really tick me off! They are the lowest of the lows in many cases! I hate it how they easily trick little kids at the age of like 7 into getting viruses by making it look like something they like!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've seen that virus before... After a quick trip to Norton's site, here's the quick bit on it.

It's a Lv 2 Spam AIDS worm... In easier terms, it a fairly annoying virus that tries to knock out your firewall(s) & your anti-virus program (hence the AIDS bit), then tries to infect your friends by sending them some type of spam with your name on it.

If you've kept your virus definitions up to date (if you don't, PAY FOR IT!), you should have been protected since July/August. At least it's no Smeggin' Klez virus... I had to retire an 2 E-mail addresses because of it.
