Before we start, i wanna make it super clear that this is Metal Gear not metal gear solid. Metal gear is the original game that was released for the MSX in 1987. The game was...preety bad by todays standards...at least so i've heard. But it quickly became a classic. So much so that it got ported to the NES in a version that Hideo Kojima has disowned ("The truck have started moving")
Why am i doing this? Fun . Plus alot of people have never played/read the script for the original game so this will help them out aswell
The storyline is this. Solid Snake, a new recruit in fox hound, is sent to an armed fortress nation called Outer Heaven. This was started by a legendary mercenary gone mad. Grey Fox, the only fox hound member to get the code name fox, was captured. Snakes mission is to save Grey Fox and destroy the new weapon...Metal Gear
I want to get a trailer for this out within the next week, so i guess friday this week is the deadline for the following characters: The boss. Eva. Big Boss.
One final note: I havn't been able to get my hands on any voice clips...sorry...
Ok...on with the show...
CHARACTERS
Big Boss
Gender: Male
Bio: A respected soldier. Some say the greatest soldier of the 20th century. Of course, by the time this game takes place he is around 70 so he won't be helping snake out in the actual mission. He is leader of fox hound and will command snake from a safe place.
Voice type: Ok...a few people (Geeky MGS fans like me ) will be currently saying "Buh! Buh! NO! Big Boss and snake have the same voice! M'YEAH!" which is why the RP could have become difficult...But, i've made a simple decision and that is to make him sound like Solidus in MGS2. It doesn't have to be a perfect impression...
1: That’s not important. Intelligence has found that this (pause) mad man has got a team working on a new weapon of mass destruction.
2: Forget about that for now. First, contact our missing agent Grey Fox. Then try and find Metal Gear!
3: You are in a prison Facility. Grey Fox should be held some where around that area…look close…
Eva
Gender: Female
Bio: A spy. Also Naked Snakes love interest in MGS3. I'm using some of her lines in the trailer for this, so she won't actually be in the finished thing. But if i get to MGS3 then you'll be more then welcome to reprise the roll.
Voice type: A femine, yet not overly sexy type voice.

The boss
Gender: Female
Bio: The second greatest soldier of the 20th century. She created the cobra unit and basically kicked snakes ass every 5 minutes in MGS3. Was she a traitor though? Mhahahhaa
Voice type: Motherly. The voice should sound calming to other people listening to it, even at times when normal people would be screaming and hitting their heads off of walls
1. Snake, I raised you, I loved you, I’ve given you weapons. Taught you techniques, endowed you with knowledge. Theres nothing more I can give you. The only thing left for you to take is my life.
Prisoner
Gender: Male/Female
Bio: In the original a selection of prisoners gave you clues to Grey Foxes whereabouts. And several other things. In the case of the MGRP (Metal Gear Radio play) there is only one Prisoner snake frees. This prisoner gives Snake all the info he needs.
Voice type: Any old voice...The prisoner is an important, yet short character. This is a character for anyone who has never played the games before or can't impersonate the characters. T'is also an extra female character...which is always nice...

Johnny/Guard
Gender: Male
Bio: I've put Johnny Sasaki, the ill fated guard from every MGS game into this, Just for laughs. The impression needs to be preety good if i'm going to call him johnny. BUT! I will just call him "Guard" if nobody can do a good impersonation. So...audition! *Coughs* Please?
Voice Type: Like Johnny Sasaki...or any. Whatever really...
1. Hey! Why’s that door open? Who’re you?
2. No…Enough stalling! Come on, you’re going in a cell!
Grey fox
Gender: male
Bio: The only agent to get the codename "Fox" at this point in foxhound. An excellent soldier who got captured. His last transmission to base was the phrase "Metal Gear". Snakes mission is to rescue this soldier.
Voice Type: Anyone whose played Twin Snakes (I can't remember in MGS) will have heard a strained version of Fox's real voice. I can't remember if its enough to go on, so lets say this is another original voice. It's up to you really. If you wanna go at doing an impression, thats up to you...

Shoot Gunner
Gender: Male
Bio: As memory serves (and from reading the scripts) Shoot Gunner didn't ever say anything. So he's a bit of an original character. He doesn't say much but what he has to say is important. I'm written him as a crazy stereotypical mad guy. Not angry, because he thinks he's a step ahead. Think Fatman from MGS2
Voice Type: It needs to portray the madness behind it. But at the same time it should be calm...
1. Oh! You’re back for more eh? You can hide behind that crate all you want! I can wait forever…
2. (He sees a missile coming towards him and screams, he thinks he's going to die)
3. (Coughs) Hey…good show back there…
Thats it so far...i want to cast these roles so i can start mixing, even before the script is finished...
