What are some of the Bands that you are ashamed to listen to, or just plain dont want anyone to know that you like them?

Music I like and not ashamed of, but get made fun for anyway? Cat Stevens, Harry Connick Jr, Ani DiFranco, and the soundtrack for Titanic (the BROADWAY musical! not the movie!).

NSync! Wait im proud to listen to them cause it just messes everyone up. Why like them? The music is catchy, they are hott, and they can dance. ALl the other boy groups are ass. By the way i Love Def Leopard, i lsten to them at work.

I would have to say system of a down. Nobody at my school except for me has even heard of them. But I'm not really ashamed of listening to them.

You know of Frente, they're nothing to be ashamed of, Accidently Kelly Street was just a little too whisical but they were decent, I like their 3 string cover of "Bizaar love Triangle", Angie Hart now lives in LA & has a band called Splendid.

oh yes, I have some pretty nasty skeletons in my stereo. such as... Aqua. Aqua! I like that one song, Cartoon Heros. "We are the cartoon heeeeeEros, whoooAH, we are the ones who're gonna last forever..." I mean, that's pretty damn shameful.

Oh, and I don't listen to them anymore, but I do own Salt 'N Pepa. What ever happened to them?

What's wrong with Foo Fighters? They kick all ass. Same way with Godsmack. I know, holy crap they're mainstream, we can't have that....must listen to the most esoteric possible music to be cool....give me a fucking break. Tanner is cool to admit that he likes 'Nsync because it's not cool to like them in counterculture that NG is more or less a part of. I don't like they're music, but oh well. Some bands I saw mentioned in there that NO ONE SHOULD BE SHAMED OF are; The Pixies, System of a Down, Squirrel Nut Zippers, Godsmak, GWAR, Led Zeppelin(early shit, anyways) and The Culture Club.

I sometimes listen to thew Foo Fighters and Bjork! They're awesome! I also listen to alot of techno shit like The Prodigy, although Im not ashamed about that. I also listen to The Clash, they're fucking awesome.
