(To save you the trouble, here are the tied diciplenes: Hunting, Weaponskill, Healing, Mindblast, and animal Kinship.) BTW, I'm sry about taking so damn long to get online. My computer broke and I had to wait for my dad to fix it.

It has been 9 months since your initiation into the order. Despite the initial conflict, you quickly are accepted by the other students. Ironiclly, you become good friends with Sky Hawk, the student you KO'ed when you crash-landed in the monestary. Lone Wolf soon leaves the monestary on some misssion, but you don't really care much. One day, you are practicing Cameofluage with Hawk. Crouching down behind one of the many boulders that litter the practice area, you desguise all indicatiors of your presence, including the mystic pulse your body gives off. Hawk is slowly closing in on your hiding place. Suddenly, your sixth sense goes off, and a moment later, the alarm bell rings, breaking your concentration. Hawk, detecs you and rush to you. "What's going on?" You say. "I don't know, but it's most likly a riot." Hawk says, but not sounding to sure of himself. You jump up to the outer wall to see what is going on just in time to see a fireball heading directly toward your head. You use your power of fire controlling to make the fire ball turn the other way. "I don't think this is a riot!" You yell down to Hawk. Taking out the spyglass you keep with you, you look out on the city that surrounds the monestary, and quickly discover the source of the distubance. Dragons. A fleet of dragons, numbering in the hundreds, is flying over the city. Sptting fire at innocent people. Upon closer inspection, you see that each dragon has a rider commanding it. "Dragons!" You shout to Hawk, and you jump down. "Dragons are attacking the city!" "Then what are we waiting for!" Yells Hawk, and you both run for the front gate. At the gate, the monestary leader in Lone Wolf's absence, Silent Panther, is commanding the students to positions and untits. You seem to be forgotten. You must decide on your own course of action.
A-Try and capture a dragon.
B-Team up with some archers and snipe at dragons
C-Try and fight the dragons from the ground in hand to hand combat.
(I think I know which one is going to win.)

You suggest your plan to Silent Panther, who thinks for a moment before responding. "Very well. Swift Wolf, Sky Hawk, you may try to capture one of these beasts. But if you have not succeeded by the time the sun sets, I will place you with the rest." Thanking him, You and Hawk head into the city. The entire city is in chaos, with people running every which way in panic, and the army fighting alongside the students of the order against the dragons. You regretfully wish you hadn't let your Uzis rust during the time at the order. A dragon swoops
low, and you take this oppertunity to jump up onto the dragon and punch it's rider, who looks somthing like a zombie, off it's mount. The dragon immedeatly begins to try to knock you off. It twists and turns in midair, and to despreatly grab onto the reins. You manage to force it down to the ground, and Hawk, who has mastered animal kinship, attemps to communicate with it. A minute goes by, the dragon resisting both you and Hawk. You feel your control on the animal slippping, and you jump off, still holding the dragon's harness, grab an iron stake, and pin the reins, and to dragon wearing it, to the ground before the dragon can react. You then have a moment to speak to Hawk. "This dragon is under the influence of a powerful mind control. We must break the control if we have any chance of calming it." Nodding, you look at the dark-scaled dragon. An armor plate a shining metal shields its head, gleaming strangly brightly. There is an collar around it's neck, set with an large ruby, and there is a heavy iron ring around it's right foreleg. You get an idea "Hawk," you say, "can psychic control be channeled through a item?" "Yes, it is used among dark wizards to control minions. I suspect that they are using this form of mind control on this dragon." You sixth sense goes off, telling you the dragon is about to break free of the stake pinning it to the ground. You only have time to remove one of the items before it breaks free.
A-Remove the Head guard.
B-Remove the collar.
C-Remove the metal ring.

I'd say remove the collar. Rubies are usually magical items.

Or maybe the headplate glowing oddly? Nah, never mind, collar it is.

I'd just like to say this is a great thread. Keep up the story, it would be disappointing if it ended!

You smash the collar just before the dragon breaks free. The dragons scales become a soft golden color, and it stops thashing. Hawk takes this oppertunity to try and communicate with it. After 15 minutes of converation with the dragon, Hawk turns to you. "A far off dark force is using these gems as a conduit for it's pychic energy. This dark force is capturing dragons for their own puposes." "We have to let the others know that these dragons are not truly evil." you say. "Yes," Hawk says, "one of us should tell the others what we have discovered, and the other should takes to the sky on the dragon and free the other dragons."
A-Take to the sky on the dragon. You can't put Hawk in danger by letting him take to the sky.
B-Deliver the message. You're faster, and Hawk has animal kinship, he'll probably be better on the dragon.

Sorry this update is so short, but the next one will be really actiony to make up for it.
