computer font problem

my ie and all my programs font's have changed and i don't know how to fix it. i tried making the font bigger and smaller and i changed my resoultion but that didnt help either. can anybody help me?

That takes us to the page about imageshack's quickshot, a program which lets you host screenshots with the press of a button... you need to actually give us a link-specific page in order to access any material you have personally uploaded.

No, I was saying that if he wanted to show a screenshot of what he was talking about, he could go there and download that program.

oh my god! i need help trying to change my font to usually. this is not times new roman. this is some weird font that came up on my computer and i cant fix. now please, can someone tell me how to fix this problem?

go to control panel and switch to classic view.

get someone to copy there fonts folder for you (or if you have a windows cd copy it from there)

find the fonts folder

find the font that is not working correct(open them up and make sure they look correct) and replace the file OR just replace the intire folder.

this will refresh the fonts in windows and tell you if its a corrupt font in windows or just a problem with internet explorer

hmmm well the font that is incorrect is ariel but i really want times new roman. when i went into the font folder, ariel was not there. so wut do i do now?

you should have 5 different aerial fonts in the folder.

aerial
aerial black
aerial bold
aerial bold italic
aerial italic

and 4 times roman font files

newtimes roman
newtimes roman bold
newtimes roman bold italic
newtimes roman italic

find and replace or add these files to the font folder

to all the people that helped me yesterday,

ty so much for helping me out. i fixed the problem by myself. i tried a system restore for the heck of it and i fixed the problem. my font is now back to usually and im back to normal. ty to all the people that helped me in my problem.
