The work produced is better than half the crap filling the portal and a lot of it has some effort in it which I can't say about a lot of things. They have earned their right to get their own collection.
Plus if they do get it, maybe they would feel more like making more high quality movies.

(Or 5 movies by the same author) However, I don't think it should have the standard collections page style, instead there should be a drop-down list for each month. (Saving time and filespace for the admins)

Ok lets look at it this way... True One person votes five and one person votes zero... but 5 and 0 averaged are 2.5 and thats if they aren't weighted. Most of the ss have protection points because of their practices that outway the n00bs who vote zero. so it really puts the score at about 3.something or other...

I would be happy if I saw "Star Themed" movies or "Clock themed" movies, but its the voting practices that annoy me. If it were up to me, and it isn't... I would severely restrict what both groups could do. And I certanly wouldn't give the SS a collection page... Its not the number of movies its the quality.

You could have a million crappy submissions, but that wouldn't warrant a collection page.

If you want to make better movies do it... but its as annoying as hell to read reviews that say "I VOETD 5!!!" without any analisis of the movie and to see a movie that normally would have scored lower score higher. It doesn't matter how you guys dress it up, it isn't right, and I'm not surprised that the admins don't appreciate it.

Hell, if I'm not mistaken, the SS got more Daily Awards today then the clocks did on Clock Day! And yet the clocks fucking ruled the front page for a day! Come on people!

So what does that have to do with anything? There wasn't any high quality movies/games submitted so the "DailyDay2"-toons who had all the publicity was exposed most won.
