is there such a thing as an external graphics card that can just be pluged into a usb port or something that can be used to run games

I doubt it. I think that the graphics card has to be on the mother board. But maybe in the future...

They dont exist.

But you know, that's not to unfeasible to do. We just have to wait for USB 3.0 or something that will be able to be the one of the first boot devices, and will allow that much data to flow through.
