A girl at my school killed herself

So I arrived at school today to news that a sith former had commited suicide. Her dad found her in the shower, dead.

I was.......shocked to say the least. I didn't know this person. Nobody I've spoken to did. This isn't so suprising since she was 2 years higher than me. Hardly any of the sixth formers were sad, but those who knew her were deeply affected.

We had an assembly today. It wasn't announced. No prayer. No silence. To me it seemed like it didn't matter.

This makes me really mad. My school is just.....terrible. The teachers are OK, but it's the vice principals and the principal who ruin it completely.

They think they own us. Things we do outside school affect us in school. Uniform not perfect walking home? Detention. Got in a fight? Detention,

Even small things get them in a tiff. If you search my posts you'll find a story about an after school detention for typing a word into a claculator.

I really don't get them, The vice principals are the principlas bitches. If you ever get in trouble, you can guarentee that one of them will be there commenting on what the principal has to say. They should just get in his ass instead of just fantasising......it really annoys me.

Maybe this is the reason she decided to end it. Maybe she was bullied. The school don't do anything about bullying. If you're being bullied there's nothing you can do but take matters into your own hands. And if you do, it's always your fault for starting something.......

I can't take this school anymore. The students and teachers are fine, but the people who run it need a rude awakening.

So, here's to you. Even though I don't know your name, maybe your death can somehow save someone else from your fate.

I highly doubt if this girl killed herself simply because of a school administration and I think your drama about the school administration is simply trivializing her death. Most likely, she had some family issues or relationship issues or stress or something.

I suppose. I guess I'm just angry at them for not saying anything. They have caused so many incidents for not doing anything about bullying. There have been suspensions and expulsions over bullying........and for some reason it's always the victim who gets the worst of it.

The sad thing is, this is meant to be the bedst school in Northern Ireland.

I think our school used to be really sucky like that too, but moreso because everybody would group together and there were all these random rivalries and hatred, etc. Kind of like Middle School.

But... that completely changed when one day about 8 or so years ago some kid stood up on one of the lunch tables in the cafeteria during lunch and shot himself in the head.

But yea, my old school had its share of suicides. They're actually reeling from one right now, about two weeks ago the auto-shop teacher's son hung himself, and about once a year either an alumni or in the case of last year a current student dies in some form of motor vehicle accident. Last year a junior cut himself in half on an illegally parked 18-wheeler because he was doing wheelies on his Sports Bike at speeds of 90-100 mph.

It's depressing, but if things change positively as a result of it then I guess that's just the way life works. Your administration does sound like jackasses though. Ours obviously cared about student life, so when anything like that happened the first they heard about it kids would be excused from being late to school on the day after it happened, Guidance would be open to people at any time to talk about whatever, and we'd hear an announcement letting us know what happened and usually including a moment of silence.

It'd be nice if people were more accepting and less idiotic, then these things wouldn't happen nearly as often.

Sad to say... but this goes to show how fucked up some countries can really be.

And comming from the U.S... I can relate that most schools don't do much about bullying... Hell, lord knows i was always punished for retaliation...

As for the chick at your school... she had problems, and i dun think it was all school... if it was, then she's stupid. It was more likely to be a combination of family/school and other things.

So to comfort you... just go on about your life... and make sure you keep it all in check.

That's sad and interesting....
But I wouldn't feel that bad unless I was somewhat guilty for it.
Two people I know have died the exact same day that I said "I hope you die" or something.
One was in First grade...A kid named Hanz cussed me out and called me white trash, (I was the only white kid in school and i got picked on a lot) and I said "I hope you get hit by a car and die!"....The exact same day after school, the kid ran out into the street and got hit by a Ford truck.... I still feel guilty for that.
And then the summer before last, me and a guy I knew named Mack were fighting, and he was showing off in the middle of the street on his bike while he was saying mean things to me, and I said "I hope you wreck and a car runs over you". The exact same day he got hit by a Chevy while he was ramping on his bike.... He was in the hospital in a coma for about 3 months.... I felt so guilty for that.... It seems that every time I tell someone I hope they get hit by a car it happens. -.-
Mack lived though...Thank god. lol. He got stuck in a wheel chair for about half a year. They thought he'd be paralized for life.
He's got a lot of scars though.
After he got out he blamed me for "Jinxing him" and called me a bitch.... so I said "I hope you get hit again and actually die".... Thank god it didn't happen this time. lol
There's no point in me writing this. It's somewhat off topic.
But I wouldn't feel bad for the girl that died if I was you. Well, I would, but not a lot. Unless it was a situation like mine... Then it would make more sense.

Number one, I doubt she killed herself over anythign to do with school. And why are you acting like it's SO TOTALLY FUCKING CRAZY to get detention for getting in a fight. In my school, you'd be suspended.

You probably got detention for typing BOOBS, LESBO, or HELL on a calculator. That might deserve one.

Anyways, I'm not saying you don't care about the girl, but this topic isn't a great showing of how much you care. You're just talking about regular school regulations.

Dean Ballow, a bitch to say the least...looks through Myspace finding kids who put their school down as our own school....and then looks through their page to see if she can find any dirt

And as some of you know, Homecoming has occured or is coming up. Well the top runner for Homecoming King, Sergay, who was most likely the winner, got taken out because Dean Ballow found a picture of him holding a bong on his Myspace......
