ratzien i saw yours, and its pretty good, but the ground destuction could be better. me and bleeblab found out a way to do it. you basically put the background in front of the foreground, and put a mask over the background, to show the forground. then to destroy the map, duplicate a circle movieclip inside the masking movieclip. and for hit test instead of !hitTest(_root.ground) do hitTest(mask)==true.

Sorry for the double-post.

If you're still accepting engines (or even if you're not), this is a prototype I just threw together; I plan to use it as a basis for a fun 'puzzle cube' similar to the one in Lighthouse, or the real life ones you can buy and put money in as gifts or something.

here was something i did a few weeks ago and never got around to fixing the glitches but nvm

for the sake of it i also made it draw the path of the ball and dissipate it (causing a bit of slow down but meh)

hold shift to draw in walls and click and drag to fire ball

Made a small yet nice change to my swinging thing, the swinging ball is now also affected by the hit. Feels a lot more real.

I like it, though the BMX jumps too high and when the bike is between the half pipe and the ramp and you move towards the ramp, you magically appear on top of it.

use WASD to move and mouse to swing sword

the number at the top is the sword swing speed, you need to swing it fast enough en order to kill them

when the sword touches the enemy while it is standing skill you and the enemy will both slow down as if you are pushing against eachother

I know its nothing compared to some of the engines in here, but me and -liam- spent a while on this =P

Its a 'track and field' style controls racing engine... Just tap space as fast as you can to increase speed, your opponents speed is random and different each time, it traces your position when viewed in flash...

This was my first copy of the engine, using kirby. The run animation plays when the speed reaches above 5, the speed decreases quite fast making it a bit harder, just tap space as fast as you can ^_^

good apart from the gravity, you need to make it realistic i.e. the longer the object is falling, the faster it is falling i.e. exponential

yeah i got that,
but i gave it a maximum of 10pixels per frame,
perhaps i have to put that higer
