Ok, how does the computer parse script? From top to bottom. Let's look at this simple script.

Be sure to note, that some languages, such as C# always read from the Main() method first, though it does read from that from top to bottom, but always runs things from that method before moving on, regardless of where it lives in the code.

1)Check if a variable named nmbr exist, if not, allocate space for an Object instance
2)Find that the value two is assigned to the variable declared, the assignement occurs after the Number costructor is activated on nmbr
3)The process of decliration repeats for the nmbr 2, after it is declared the assignment occurs, like nmbr it is set, flash accesses your ram and fetches the data in nmbr's location, operated the ALU (arithmetical logical unit) of the computer to calculate using the multiply operator (which by the way the optimizer turns to >>2 which the computer can calculate much faster)

wow Inglor, you're a NERD! :P

why would you care to find out this kinda stuff, anyway? ALU sounds like a foreign "'allo" if pronounced :P

this tut is to hard to understand, most people won't, and they won't care, your close, but too advanced.

just because you are hindered by your (lack of) intelligence, doesnt mean other people are, too.

amen. i read/understood the tutorial fine, and it served its purpose exactly. a difficult thing to learn is using logic to solve problems, and its good that someone tried to teach a little bit about it. god knows someone has to...
