I have just recently started to work with MS.net VB 2003, and would like to know if any of you know any good books/websites I should read/visit to get some teqniques for programming video games (such as...well...A 2-d 3rd person shooter).

2-d 3-d shooter you say? i think you are thinking way too far ahead. i suggest going to your local book store (not chapters, by god if it's chapters i'll rip your eyes out) and pick out a few VB from the ground up books and stuff like that.
