This past week, April and I went on a vacation to Las Vegas. On Monday night, after dinner at the Eiffel Tower Restaurant, I proposed to her and she said YES! We're getting married!!!!!!!!!!!
On the flight back, I was reading Wired and was pleasantly surprised when I turned to page 78 and found Dad 'n Me on their list of "What the Wired gang is into this month." They even refer to it as a "game from the creators of the indie classic Alien Hominid" - Wired called AH an indie classic! Does that make it official? :)
We got back on Wednesday night and I've been getting caught up on tons of work. I'd rather be back by the Hard Rock pool right now but I should be back on my feet by Monday.
Office news: Yesterday I signed off on the short term insurance which will allow us to occupy the building prior to the November 17th settlement date. Today I'll be dropping off some paperwork with PECO (Philadelphia Electric Co), which is required to establish gas & electric for a commercial property (along with a $1,770.00 deposit). It would be great to get the keys before the weekend, but I'll be happy if I can get them on Monday so we can start setting up the office! We need to set up the internet connection, internal network, phone system, etc.
But enough about that... I'm getting married!!!!!!!!!!!!!
