Well its not that they are a bad band or anything. What just pisses me off is how they sell out. I have heard "American Idiot" in at least 5 commercials. And even at the edn of the Andy Milonakas show.

You know if you were in the the same position you would sell out too. So would I. If the music is good enough, it'll still be around 10 years from now, and noone will remember what commercials the songs were in.

Their music was never all the great and even it was have you seen them, one a buck tooth weirdo who wears 6 coats of eyemakeup and has them gay shoes one lucks like he's 45 and the other well I dunno about him but still.

My sister got their American Idiot album. I decided to listen to the album and I don't think it's bad. The only I didn't like were some 9 minute songs. Meh, I don't hear about Green Day in my school much anyway.

Damn right. They suck so much I went to see them live.

I like the music. I don't particulary think I'm a rebel, or antidisestablishment in any way because of it.

I really like green day but the reason the cd american idiot all sounds the same is b/c it's practically meant to be one long story, but just in case u think i'm an idiot for thinking this i do like their old stuff, and ppl r right. they really do overplay american idiot, boulivard, and holiday on the radio too much. i'd like to hear some more basket case and minority and all the other stuff they play

One of my friends started listening to green day an became obssesed with them. I think that screwed him up because he almost stoped brushing his teeth, got very annoying, and became a fatass and a wuss even though hes a black belt in karate.

I've always hated Green Day, but American Idiot was my favourite album. I still hate it with a passion, but that's besides the point.
