That's also becuase you have about 11gb. It takes up space quicker.

My new one is way better than yours. 40GB and has a lot of free space left. However, my old one, has less total capacity, but has some free space.

yes you may need that much space i do i got a 114gb maxtor diamond with a 40gb seagate barracuda 7,200 for backup which is 75% full

Yes, judging by the size of the HD.
But there's a lot more to computers than the HD. In fact, the HD isn't even neccesary.

You do if you like saving and burning all kinds of movies and games and stuff 160gb isn't even that big theres a hardrive on compusa that 500gb internal now thats a big hardrive

Mine has 140GB, and I'm using 80GB of it. Still got 60 left.
