Finally, a thread in which i'm almost ABLIGED to shamelessly self advertise my VG tracks in :)
My fav is 'Your quest is over' closely followed by 'Bob-om battlefield FULL' or whatever i called it.
Par's Alternate Route rox my sox as well.

ive gotta admit the tetris music done here is good stuff. there is a kick ass band called Ozma that done a rock and roll version of it too, ive got it on my mp3 player along with some of their other music

The music from all the F-Zero games (not including the GameCube, and the GameBoy Advance) had amazing music. So did Rock 'n' Roll Racing for the Super Nintendo. And Super Turrican 2 had cool music, not to mention Battletoads in Battlemaniacs on the SNES. Yeah!!!

Doom 3 does have music during the game, only its very quiet and subtle, and blended well with the sound effects so you dont notice it. mainly haunting string type sounds. But yes, it doesnt have any banging tunes in it. I like the halo music, i heard it was reznor who did that as well, tho it may have been the guy from primus :P

Halo has some badass music that kicks in at the right times.Also Steve Vai recorded a guitar solo for the game so it gets extra points of coolness.

im planning to do a good techno remake of the batle theme, and maybe me and my bro will do a Heavy Metal cover of One winged angel.

I really dig the music from Chrono Cross, Final Fantasy 4, 6 and 7, Secret of Mana. Hmmm it looks like I've got a square/enix trend here, but they really have it down I think. This music is fun to redo and is great for listening.

Got that game, but it dosnt really count.
ALL the music in that is ad-libs of the popular rock tracks at the time, black sabbath etc
