You probobly know what i'm going to talk about and that is the parental advisory sticker. Which to me means a type of censorship. Like for instance both movies and video games as well as television showa have ratings. But what do albums have the Blasted sticker, to me I wish that there be a rating system for albums. I also on a last note would love to pick at places that don't sell albums becuase they are parental advisory but that will be for another time. So now its your turn to say what you beleive on the suject.

Forget having a ratings system. We shouldn't rate or censor music, or television and movies for that matter. The only people who want these things are fuckin soccer moms who are afraid for the innocent children. And politicians don't give a shit, they just tell the public what think they want to hear. Censorship is a big step to letting the government have more control over our daily and personel lives. Organizations like the MPAA trying to edit what we see and hear should be unconstitutional. I only use the MPAA as an example because I forget what that bullshit Tipper Gore group is called, they're the group who created the "parental advisory" sticker for music in the first place. I'm glad she's not the first lady now.

Keeping people from telling you something isn't always a bad thing, and shouldn't be unconstitutional like you say. However, I agree to non-censorship. I want to see things for how they really are: the way Holleywood executives want us to.
I really cannot tell if I spelled Holleywood right or not. It looks wrong with an 'e'. Oh well.

I think there is a difference between the ratings system and censorship. I believe there should be ratings on movies, TV shows, and CDs, but not in its existing form. The TV ratings are the best thing so far, showing what is *actually* in the show, eg violence, sex, language. Movies and music should also rate their products this way. With new ratings, parents could better judge for themselves whether or not their children could handle the movie (or TV or music). Certain movies could still have the NC-17 rating (for very extreme cases of violence and sex) and those would be the only movies children are not allowed to view in theatres.
This is different than censorship though. I don't believe in that. Let me think and say and express whatever they want. The ratings help people judge for themselves, that way artists cannot be censored. And they censor the stupidest things! Example: I bought Wheatus's CD at K-Mart. I've since learned not to buy anything there anymore, since they have a "clean" version that mixes out the words "ass" and "bitch."
Quote of the day: @Nysssa "What is the word I want to use here?" @freakapotimus "Taint".

Thats utter bollocks(no offence) but Hollywood wants us to see a kind of "super-reality" in which one man can beat up hundreds of people, actually I doubt anything really relates to the audience apart from violence
