First Post Ever

Recently an audio God was questioned about his work. I myself being a huge fan of darklordoblivions work was shocked to hear people questioning his work. He has recently (or can an administrator) pulled all of his work off of Audio Portal and has confirmed several rumors of him actually stealing music. His vacating the Portal has left a huge void in it. I`ve been scrolling audion for about 5 months now and I have a few good alternatives to try to fill the void until the next God of Classical comes. Try XMG-ZETH of misc if u like classical/ ParagonX9 because he is just cool/ Stage 3-1 of Video Game/ GS-screamer of Metal and Video Game. And if anyone has the URL for the site darklord stole from please tell me

Yes, I was horrified to find that DarkLord had pulled all of his audio. I would definitely dub him the "King of NG Classical" for sure. And there was one of his songs that I never got to download. : ( (If anyone is willing to send me A Falling City, email me!)

I will never stop hoping he will come back. I don't care if he did steal audio, he was an amazing artist. So, I say, Come back DarkLord!!!

I'm sorry about that guys.. i think i'm to blame for him getting the boot.
He read the submission guidelines, he would have known the consequences for his actions.

I listened to as many tracks as I could, and I wonder how many were actually his. Some of them... heck, I'd even have in my daily playlist. Maybe he'll resurface one day as someone else. I feel sorry those that were mislead, and hopefully everyone can forgive and forget and simply move on.

No hard feelings. That's just life. Unfortunately, he's gota deal with it. I'm sure I speak for any other composer who's work was taken and ripped as well.

*sigh* It is unfortunate. I have been going through some of the music he supposedly stole though, and must admit that I haven't found anything that sounds the same. I'll keep listening just to be sure...

The only question that comes to mind, is how much actually was stolen, and how much was original work? Because, to be quite honest, I seriously, had hoped to see this guy break it big, as an actual artist for movies and stuff, but, was it all fake? Or, was only some of it fake? As it stands, with that question left unanswered, I don't know. Its like seeing real talent, and then seeing that talent revealed as a fake, even if it was only partially fake, it just ruins the songs for me.

I checked his stuff out back when he was hitting the weekly top 5. It was awesome, but he doesn't deserve any respect if the audio he uploaded wasn't even his.

GS-screamer made 1 popular metal track with synth guitars. He is far from being the best at metal. He doesn't even use real fucking guitars!

Yet his popularity is what made it so well known.

It's ok, I think he did it with a keyboard - if he did, at least there's some talent involved...I hate songs with computer-made guitars, because it's so fucking talentless. I don't remember rating any more than 5 for effort in reviews for computer-made guitar songs.

For the most part I agree.Although I did hear a pretty decent one once though I can't remember where.
