Yeah im not too stressed out about file size i just set a limit so people dont go overboard... i like 48kps it all depends on how heavy peoples entries will be.. if its a fairly light collection then ill bump up the quality of the audio if not then ill bump down.

3d is tough to pull off but if you can make it under the file size i suppose i cant stop you.

It's easier to think about this challenge as dealing with weather its much easier to manage that way because we can feel and see weather therefore its easier to show in an animation. You could hypothetically state that an underwater world is an active environment. But you'd have to build it like such. In other words Spongebob squarepants doesnt really use the physics of an underwater environment (it does but very little), while Disney's the little mermaid did, gravity is different and its a whole new world. Make sense?

because average 3d always looks cooler than average flash. plus you could have already built some models etc and just use them.

Well there is always the problem of 3-d looking stupid next to a bunch of flash animations. That might be an issue, I know it was once before :F

So? Models take a LOT longer to make than it does to draw a character... it's almost like completely fair to do that... models not only take forever to make, but you then have to rig them... then you have to texture them... it's not the same as 2d.

my movies comming along good... about a minute down... and im gonna aim for about 2 mins :)
