Looking for mario sprites

Ok, Ive checked google and found what I was looking for but this is what happened. I got my sprite sheet into flash, used ctrl b and found out there was a white background. So, I did it again and this time I used trace bitmap but then the sprites got all messed up. I need either super mario world sprites of mario walking and mario riding yoshi, or I need good setings for the trace bitmap that will not run slow and will not mess up the sprites.

just download the free trial version of fireworks mx 2004/ fireworks 8 @ http://www.macromedia.com and delete the background.

Yes.

There are 2 ways round the problems - In order to trace the Bitmap sucessfully, you need to set the colour settings and pixels to 1 each, I'll post a pic at the bottom of this post.

This will create the problem of your computer running quite slow and probably crashing, so if this happens you'll need to just break the sprite sheets up, cut them out with the mouse so theres only 3 - 4 sprites on a sheet, save the rest in the library then clear the stage of all but the sprites you're gonna use. Then to get them back into a traceable format, go to File > Export Image > (filename.jpg) And make sure you set the quality to 100%, or it'll trace badly.
