For reducing file size? Try cropping the picture in paint, or resize in photoshop.
The max file size the program takes is 195kb.

Shit thread? I thought something was wrong when mine was deleted and several "WTF", stat threads and other rule breakers were left standing.
I have heard of this electronic mail you speak of, I did make an e-mail yesterday. I was asked to look for reposts, and if I couldn't find any, to try reposting. Try using a different image, reloading the page, clicking back on the program a few times. If that dosen't work, use a friend's computer.

Visual cues:
Cropping step: you can place a red rectangle on image with the mouse.
Eyes and mouth step: green ovals can be seen.
Last step: you can alter image with drop down menu.
