They made A, and B, but weren't famous until C. Instead of naming their next one D, they named it C+, and then C++. To the best of my knowledge, there is no B++ associated with them.

Although I always thought the '++' just referred to it being object oriented. And the notion of having an object oriented B is just silly when you already have C++ X-)
