Some requests are just easier to do, if your request is hard or not something that a sig maker wants to do, it'll just take longer, no big deal really.

When did you ask for your sig? I couldn't find anything in your recent posts and I didn't see your name on the last to do list.

I didn't ask for it - my alt, Postoholic , did. I asked for some telephone poles, a blue sky, some clouds, and maybe a road with a car on it.

Sounds pretty simple to me... :/

Its probably because postoholic is a "n00b" account. They probably would rather see their work with a well known user. But I don't do them so I couldn't say for sure. They might also think its a spam account.

All they have to do is read my profile. It reads

"Alt for Nomader"

Geezus! I'm in the next page if it's not answered, going to request to be taken off the list. In the following page, I'll request again. I dunno. I'm thinking of going to the ASM, who has provided all of my requests speedily in the past (i.e. an hour after I requested them, not three days)

Maybe, but Guardian said he was getting fed up with the bat. Still, I think it would be cool to see if it was a baseball bat instead.

I got my sig in under an hour when I asked for the sig and got it. But then, the person that made the sig for me did make other sigs like that.

Don't know what to say about that. When i posted with my alt wanting a sig for it, one person immediatly said he would take care of it. Then i took two days, but still, a very quick response.

A tip would be not using ASM, since they have high activity, with lots of people requsting pics. I often use SMG, though i don't know how active they are nowadays.

I'll use whatever, but I think I'll use the SSMR no matter how active that club gets.

Also, who likes the changes on the frontpage and the temporary NG halloween logo? I certainly like them.

I should really get a real sig, not this generic one, but I can't think of any good ideas for one. Suggestions?

Didn't really like the re-placement of the FPA and I would like borders again around each of the sections. The top banner is rather nice. Its like those Wall Street company ticker thingies.

The frontpage is looking awesome. I like the halloween logo, but it might be nice if they made a new one each year. The ticker banner thing is a very nice addition, as it was getting a bit cluttered with the various competitions. However, I think the layout of the showcased submissions could be improved to make it easier to look at.

Maybe base it on that pic I made of you. Obviously better quailty than my 5 minute job in MS Paint, but keep the catch-phrase.

Your sig is fine as it is.

True, but I prefer to have the same logo this year and maybe something different next year.

"Wylo, bitches!"

Wylo could have a "Wylo, bitches!" sig!

Also, what is unusual about this thread? I know what's so strange about this thread, but LOL!

Only Wade knows... Perhaps they found the lil critter in their new office and decided to give it a "last feast" before Wadolf sends it to an extermination camp.

There are certain times, when one must admit something:

When it says "No spamming", don't you think the moderators and administrators should abide by their own rules?

I know they're trying to have fun, but I'm sure if somebody made the precise same topic, it would be quickly destroyed.

The mods and admins are under-cutting their own agendas here - if they want to keep Newgrounds practically spam free, is this really the way to do it?

If they have any insight in all, they'd no better than to post things like that. I mean, it's even a one "word" post (although it's an acronym), and it's an oversized picture of a girbel or a hamster eating bread or something.

Is there a problem with that? I think so... the Admins need to set an example and they definitly aren't helping here.

I do agree that they need to set an example. However, it doesn't hurt to have a bit of fun now and again. As long as it isn't spam for the sake of spam, is entertaining and doesn't get out of control, then I don't see the harm in it.

First post in the thread after "wtf"

"lol"

I know it's fun and all, but they ought to maintain some sort of... authority. They can't just go around handily dandily spreading the good news of crap.

Personally, I consider that picture spam. Whether it's friendly or not, I always thought NG doesn't tolerate spam...

Remember one thing, this one thing will keep you set. This one thing also happens to be a paragraph with multiple things inside with many implications.

Mods and admins run the site. They can do what they want. Its their site. Jerry Jackson was brought back by the admins. Because this is a private site, rules were set up so the admins could have it how they want it. They can still do whatever they want. They established the rules and in this case they are above them. Its like the army. They can do things civilians can't even though they are supposed to keep the civilians from doing things.

So in summary don't let it bother you...

Alright - then I'll take it in pieces gumOnShoe.

Mods and admins run the site. They can do what they want. Its their site.

That's all good and true - however, when you set out your own rules, shouldn't you set an example?

Jerry Jackson was brought back by the admins. Because this is a private site, rules were set up so the admins could have it how they want it.

True, but if it's how they want it, why do they contribute against it?

They can still do whatever they want. They established the rules and in this case they are above them.

Nobody should be against the law, or the rules for that matter. If the President commits murder, he's impeached and sent to jail.

However, if an admin posts spam, should he be given the same treatment as a normal Newgrounder, or should he be like an impervished Military Dictator?

Its like the army. They can do things civilians can't even though they are supposed to keep the civilians from doing things.

Well, let's just look at that Prison Scandal in Iraq. Was that above the law? The army is most definitly NOT above the law, and the admins should not be above their own rules.

So in summary don't let it bother you...

They obviously felt it didn't breach anything. Wade posts lots of "oh snap" topics. Thats just the way he is, and thats what he posts. He posts his hobby. As long as its entertaining it isn't actually breaking the rules. Thats in the rules

Jerry Jackson was brought back by the admins. Because this is a private site, rules were set up so the admins could have it how they want it.

They aren't really contributing against it... Just allowing somethings through.

Nobody should be against the law, or the rules for that matter. If the President commits murder, he's impeached and sent to jail.

Ng "laws" are held dear by the admins, but they still know how to have a good time, and they know when they have overstepped the bounds. Also... creating a topic with a rodent in it isn't exactly commiting murder on ng... Mass voting would be something to get upset over

However, if an admin posts spam, should he be given the same treatment as a normal Newgrounder, or should he be like an impervished Military Dictator?

There is no one to replace the admins. They made teh site. If they wanted, tomorow we could come here and find the site has turned into a forum for cooks and photographers.

True. And I find his replies in other people's threads much more entertaining - but I don't care about a rodent eating some damn pancake.

Yeah, but it's going against what the moderators preach.

True, true. But I'd imagine it as a Class C Felony (a very small fine) - you just don't do things like that.

Yes, but then none of us would ever come back here again, and Newgrounds and their income would die.

They rely on us for money - the ads bring them cash. (exception: Alien Hominid) The cash brings them in servers and admins. Seriously though, when you set out rules the ruler must obey them.

I've always thought. What if Wade made a post topic called Spam and all it said in the post was SPAM? I would find that hilarious for Wade to do something silly like that. His WTF topic was a bit similar to that, only he posted a weird picture.

Admins should be able to do what they want. The trouble starts when mods start to do those sorta things because mods are supposed to be role models. Admins, can be whatever they want to be and people will like them.

I pointed that out once when DarkArchon made a topic that i only can see as spam, and boy, did i get flamed. There really are a large number of users that does nothing but sucking up to the moderators. DarkArchon himself didn't flame me, though.

I did once, and i asked for an orange sig, then they gave me one with flames :)

They once gave me a sig which matched my profile picture - that was about four to five months ago. And it's coming up on a month and a half for this one now.

Come to think of it, I might switch it back to my old one XD

Regarding the admins doing whatever they want, even if they were God themselves, I still would say no. It's a bunch of crap and shouldn't be posted. At all.

Yep, admins are admins and they can do things like that, but wouldn't it really be silly for Wade to make a topic called "Spam"? XD

Wow, so I'm off the internet and see no other new posts in this thread. At least I've got a post to reply to.
