broke my wrist

bike flipped over coming home from school when front tire got caught. landed left hand/head first. my whole body was in pain and my hand was limp,when i looked at it, it was twisted almost 90 degrees.

luckily there was a nurse nearby tht put ice on my hand and wrapped it, while her friend called my parents. my neighbor took all my stuff to my house, and i stayed at her house.

when my parents came we went to a clinic (ER is expensive since we dont have insurance). indeed my wrist was broken but they couldnt fix it yesterday cuz they only do x rays, all hospitals close at like 5:00, and they didnt think it was enough of an emergency to fix that day.

So i had to live with a broken wrist all day yesterday (it hurts like a *****!), i couldnt sleep because of the pain and noe today i will go to the hospital.

No piano, ukulele, tennis and a bunch of other stuff for 6 weeks!!! :(

Hmmm, maybe should have alot of strong painkillers if it's that bad.
when i broke my wrist, i had some drugs to ease the pain.

lost the front wheel of my bike back in fall of '03 when i did a bunny hop over a speed bump. it was basically in front of the entire school, as they were all headed to lunch on one path and i was going to my dorm on another. had an out of body experience, landed and skidded on my face and back of my hands.

i shattered 3 teeth, almost fractured my skull and neck, and tore most the skin off my face and hands. bad show :(

Yea i had a few broken fingers and a dislocated thumb for about 3 days before my mam made me go to the hospital... And America should have free health care like us British!

See this is were free health care works ( canada )
I broke my wrist before ...and it got x-rayed wrapped up and I was home just fine later that night I was out maybe 2-3 hours

I've broken my wrists 4 times:

Once, On my bike hitting a big jump ad landing on flat,
Three times snowboarding, Twice on my Right hand, Once on my left. Two of them were at the same time but i was back out on the hill the next day...

I broke my ankle one time. Now everytime I accidently twist it, I don't feel anything.

just went to the hospital, they said they couldnt just connect the bone themselves, it was more serious so now i need surgery. My dad signed this ccs thing so that the surgery wouldnt cost a fortune. my wrist is still broken, so the doctor just put on a temporary cast .

and, im typing this with my right hand. (pretty well actually)
