Bit of a dissappointing month, the only one I agreed with was Desktops of the Future, because of how well made it was. Denvish definitly deserved an award for Herd, or Dart 3D.. too bad =|

Congrats to all but i still think that Ambush should have been number one!
Aw I didn't even get in the top 20 games, never mind
I'm really glad Indian Outlaw won best game. By far the best in the list.

1. Lord of the Clocks 1-1a
2. Ambush!
3. Mutant Ninja Turtles EP03
What? They were horrible.
4. DCK: Oh, Baby!
That was good.
7. Autumn Tree
Should of at least got in the top 5. It should of been top to tell the truth, great graphics. Lots of great things about it.
13. Metal Gear Fiesta 2
Should of been higher.
15. Foamy: Hurricane Special
Why did this even reach top 20 again?
1. Indian Outlaw
Rubbish.
2. StripBowl!
Should of been about 5th.
3. Desktops of the Future!
It's not even a game.
4. Little Red Riding Ho!
Same with this.
5. Elf Girl Sim Date RPG
Meh.
20. StickMan Sam - Part 1
Should of really been higher.
Congrats to all our winners and THANK YOU to everyone who submitted in August! It was a great month and I'm sure picking favorites was very hard!
That was true.
Too bad Transitions didn't get into the top 5. I woulda gave it a vote if I'd been in the top 2,000 this month [I was last month ;)]
DCK: Oh, Baby!?
Never even heard of that.
BOO! WORST PICKS EVER!!
Clock movie won 1st, poorly animated ninja turtles won 3rd, and baby killing stole 4th. And The Little Girl DIDN'T MAKE IT??!? Objectionable Apparatus? 19TH?!?! God, I hate you people. Foamy: Hurricane Special is better than Objectionable Apparatus??? Somebody please confirm this, so I can kill them.
Strange Clock deserves every cent of what he won. Congratulations to everyone else. This was a very good month for Newgrounds, and this month had a very good Clock Day. Also for all the nay sayers of any movie getting anything... Seriously grow up. Why don't you try getting off your ass and making a flash movie yourself? It takes a lot of work to do more than just some really bad 5 frame stick figure. These accomplishments are not about you, this is about the flash artists who have worked hard in order to create the best movie they can. Congrats to all.
I mean, 250$ is supreme, as an iPod Shuffle, but NG t-shirt is still the best ยจ!

Actually, I'm making a sequal to magnetism first. I don't even know if I'll make a Project Monochrome 2, but maby.

Whoa so like will all 100 of the artists that participated in the Newgrounds 10th tribute get paid?

Way to go to all the runner ups and especially the winning submissions. If they won it, then obviously they deserve it because enough people think so right!? Well congrats again!

A movie needs top 5 to get a cash prize. No.20 gets nothing. I think.
If that did happen it'd be interesting. I think the submitter would get the money and give $2.50 to everyone (keeping the extras for himself cause of the extra work).
I was hoping for the mortal combat movie and fresh prince vs kkk.
Damn...

wow when the next major disaster happens I'll make a 1 fram animation with crappy voice acting and then I'll be a runner up, other than that i congradulate the rest of the winners!
Yes, my name is shit.. I would change it if I could.
I am very surprised that Objectional Apparatus didn't win and didn't even get in the top 10.

lol
Well I knw MPA got a good chuckle out of that post. Since it was ment in jest even I heard someone took that seriously.
Thanks to all
there is no way that foamy hurricane special is better than any movie. 5 mb blank screens are more entertaining.
good lord the top 2000 really makes me ashamed, last month's horrible top 5 and now the sheer fact of this hurricane movie even being in the top 20 really makes you guys look "swell".
Haha, Foamy was on the runner-up list. What are people smoking? While Cigarette was awesome visually, I think it was a bit short for winning. I was surprised The Little Girl didn't make top 5 though. I'm starting to learn that Newgrounders will sacrifice story for graphics. Congrats to the winners!
Looks like all the hate this month is generally directed toward's Foamy's Hurricane Special and all the softcore porn games. And most of us don't agree with the top 5 in either category. We're always talking about the "people" who vote for this stuff. I'd love to hear from someone who put Foamy in their top 5 on this topic. We'll never see that. Strange.

Probably because they're ashamed that they don't know how to vote for anything worthwhile.
But god damn it, Newgrounds disappoints me. First Nim's Winter Tale doesn't win and now Objectionable Apparatus, which is the best movie I've ever seen on this site.

I really wanted Objectional Apparatus to make the top five as well, but I noticed how little attention it got in its time on the front page and felt it might end up just short at sixth or seventh, I was pretty damn shocked to see it all the way down at nineteenth.
I'm still having problems understanding what NGers want from a flash animation. Objectional Apparatus had length, I rarely see one minute animations getting much praise beyond ,"it was good , but too short". Graphically it was beautiful, some of the tweening effects far and away trumped the purely frame-by-frame animations. Stylistically it had a dark, brooding and original tone, totally unlike anything else I've seen on Newgrounds.
And yet with everything it had going for it its was largely ignored by the brunt of users who hold the power to push it up in the rankings. The only explanation I can think of is that the Top 2000 Voters is inhabited by a large population of younger viewers who shy away from anything that requires some thought to enjoy. I'd hate to think that users my age helped Foamy Hurricane rant rank higher than Objectional Apparatus.
Happy with what you have to be happy with

Lol n00b
The Newgrounds audience gravitates more towards funny flashes that don't really have to have great graphics. I do agree and thought that Objectional Apparatus was a great movie with great graphics.
Well, congrats to "Lord of the Clocks" for being #1. I'm not really a Clock fan, but that has to have some of the best production value of any movie ever seen on Newgrounds!
And congrats to ramagi for doing nothing to earn his prize. Oh, well. It's good payment for good moderation, I guess.
