It's funny... but I cant laugh..

This is just.. weirding me out.

Last year when I was watching the Family Guy DVD's, I would laugh hysterically, because it was some funny funny shit. All was well..

This year.. I've had trouble laughing.. Even with the return of Family Guy.. to this day I can only give out a mere chuckle.. I know it's funny.. deep down inside I wanna laugh.. but I dont.

The same applies to anything else too... But... it might just be that Family Guy has lost it's luster..

Because I recently saw the film "Wrongfully Accused" and I laughed my ass off.. uh oh..

So here's my question.. is Family Guy still funny to you?

Yeah, but I know what you mean. I'm finding the old ones I've got on DVD less funny. And I'm yet to see any of the new ones as they've not reached the UK yet.

Family Guy I feel is the more annoying cousin to the Simpson's.
Sometime's when they make an obscure reference that most fifteen year olds won't get, I laugh(the more obscure the funnier, however more people laugh at the less obscure one's).

Family Guy is similar to the guy at the party that shout's, dance's, and carries on to get a laugh.
Very little of thier humor is based on subtelty, wit, or cleverness. Because you are not (as) shocked the second time around, the humor lose's it's potency.

This is because Family Guy is using the same jokes again from the other seasons...
Watching Peter fighting over the Chicken was funny the first time, but not the second time.

Watching Chris being attempted to be picked up by that weird pedophile guy is... well.. weird now.

The whole greased up deaf guy... *snore*

But it's getting better.
I couldn't stop laughing during the preview... where that farmer is milking the guy and it's all like, "Oh YESS!!! OOOHH....MMMMM.... UGGGHHH.... OH! GOD!"

Yeah, ive watched the family guy DVD twice i think, and second time round isnt that funny...

example, when Stewie is put into a drama-school, the scene where hes trying to play the tuba, and farts... I had to pause the dvd the first time i was laughing so hard...

i guess if i dont think about family guy for a while and watch it again in a few months it will be histerical again.

Family guy is definately the funniest show around.

dont worry though, the same thing happens to everyone, I absolutely WORSHIP Scrubs, but the original episodes dont have the same effect as they used to.
