great guide but I have a problem!! all of the angles r realy messed up and My player shoots the bullets 90 degrees right of my mouse. ive tried to change the angles but its still doesnt work. any help?

wow, this was helpful, just one question, I have my rotating at the opposite end where the bullet is supposed to come out... is this fixable?

How can I make a wait time between shots (Pistols)?
And how can I make it that you can hold down the mouse to continually shoot (Machine Guns)?

Hey, I'm having problems with putting my "turret" inside another mc, it works fine outside on the main stage...but not within another mc, I adjusted the "gun" so it used _parent. instead of _root. and that allowed it to rotate fine, but how do I fix it not shooting? So how do I put this whole rotation inside another mc, (example: a moving tank, or person)??
