It's a good movie - and I can barely consider it anime...but I must admit - I tire of these "anime" submissions...

I hear you there. I'm sick of how anything anime automatically gets to the top of the portal. Especially a movie like this one, which is nothing but a trailor. More than that, for some reason it kind of irks me that submitting that movie was nothing but a promotional stunt to get people to go to their site. I know theres no rules against it, and it is a good marketing move, but it still irks me. It's not like they're gonna release a sequel to it on Newgrounds. Thats my 2 cents.

Thats not a BAD thing. I can appreciate mindless artistry and stylings.

I think the first place was a pretty decent submission, though it was a little lacking on the content side of things.

That No Man's Land flash was too busy to really see the visuals. They tried putting as much blurred foreground as they could that it covered everything on the screen. Not to mention there was hardly any actual animation and only a little artwork. Plus the music was way too loud and it drowned the video. People feel the need to give that kind of stuff a five, but it really wasn't that good.

Who says that we won't put the second episode on Newgrounds? All we have to do is get it under your five mb limit.

No man's land had good visuals the background music didn't fit too well. It was very slow and boring and showed very little movement like a lot of you said.
