Does anyone know of a program that will produce an internal speakerish voice sound from text? Like those ones from the really old apple computers. Ive seen a lot of programs that do text to voice, but im just looking for something that sounds much sratchier with lower quality. If youve played the game Peasants Quest and talked to Trogdor, thats exactly the kind of voice sound im looking for.

nah much lower quality than the clock voices. Play this game

use a guide or something to quickly get to the end. Its pretty fun anyway. Anyway, the dragon voice at the end is kind of what im looking for. Also, it seems like u need to register speakonia to actually save ur files. I need something free unless ud be generous enough to let me borrow ur registration key :-D

Thats 'speech' for the bbc microcomputer. Problem is, you need a bbc microcomputer to use it. And my one needs a new PSU.
Try a vocoder, thats the next best bet.
