Denying gays there rights is just plain wrong its almost as bad as blacks were treated in the 50s and 60s. And quite frankly its bullshit, President Bush needs to give gays there rights. That all is true Maus - and I see your point. But you know all of those protests you hear about on TV? The World Bank protest in DC? The Gay Rights protest in DC? (I think its normally in like San Fransisco, but I've seen it happen before) - The PETA march in DC? All of these rights of free speech effect mine, and my city's lifestyle. Traffic gets held up - these little nuisances add up pretty quickly Maus... and in my opinion, I don't think DC (at least I don't) care about the sort of crap if they clog up my daily commute. Why should I support the idea if it's messing up my life already? (like getting into chain circles and clogging up the Capital Beltway)

I agree that that the issue of gay right and civil rights are simuliar in some aspect but I disagree that they are exactly the same thing. I see it like this being Gay is something at some point and time may be able to change someone may go from being gay to straight. I have no such luck in being black theres no point or time I can just choose to stop being black. And that one little point seperates the two sides completly.

As for using the "N" on the BBS I would have no problem with people using it if they used it in a non negative meaning. As someone said when we use the "N" word in my community its used in a way that its on the same level as brother. So you refer to your friend as "Yo thats my N****" as in hey that is my friend. Now in my time on the BBS every time I hear that word used by others its ALWAYS in a negative meaning its always attached to some sort of insult. Its kinda sad too because in chats on NG and on RadioGrounds people use it like water and its always negative. Don't believe me? Check it out for yourself. So what I'm saying is that I would rather the word not be used at all on the BBS because I know if you try and be selective about and say you can say it but only when its positive is not gonna work.
