just the other day, i was watching electric playground on space. my ps2 was right in front of me, so i took the controller and started fiddling with it. i always do that while i'm watching tv or while i'm waiting for a game to load. anyways, i had the sudden urge to go to the bathroom. since i had the controller in my hands, i pressed the start button to pause the show, but to my surprise, it didn't work. it was then that i realized that this only works with video games.

has this happened to anybody else?

I press the pause button on my keyboard to mute the TV. It never works. I get confused easily :S

When i watch football/soccer i used to say 'circle' or 'triangle goddamit!' when i wanted the player to pass or shoot, to much Fifa.

I tried to hit the pause button on my girlfriend when she wouldn't stop talking. And the pause button was her nose. AND I PUNCHED IT.

Heh...All the time I walk in, wanting to play playstation 2, turn it on, pick up the controller and sit down. Realizeing I didn' turn the television on, I flip my monitor on, and stare at it continuously, expecting my game to play when the tv is still off. Kind of sad....

are you serious? sometimes i turn my ps2 on and wait for the game to load, but it never does because there's no game in it. it takes ma a while to realize it too.
