I accidently switched my account somehow and now all my bookmarks are gone. does anyone know how to switch back?

Firefox has accounts?
Try reinstalling and it should pick up your favourites, though i still don't get what you mean with the accounts...

Actually I do :)
Close all the windows using firefox and enter "firefox.exe -profilemanager" into the "run" option on the start menu and choose the correct user.
