This is a contest that everyone can do. Quite creative way for some extra promotion. I'm not sure if I will be in it, but I guess there are enough crazy Americans.
The most special thing I think about this contest is that everyone can win this time. Normally it are people with accounts who can get $100 for voting or Flash authors who can win $250 for submitting a Flash and getting good votes - fun for everyone this time! :)

Sounds cool Tom but I graduated back in june from my College of St.Clair Chatham Canada I also passed for my g1 yesterday the written part yay me good luck to all the people entering the contest.

YES! I'm hurtin' for money, so I'll be sure to at least attempt something on my campus. I'm sure this is an original idea, but it still makes me feel special suggesting Newgrounds scholarships in the old Ideas for Newgrounds Evolution thread. :-b
Sounds awesome, I'll check it out, and since I'm going to UMass Amherst (20,000+ people) if I do something big enough it'd pull in a decent amount of people. We'll see how it goes though.

Nice Idea, I will think about it. Hey any chance any of you who are looking at this post go to confederation college thunder bay, canada? If so, you might see me walking around handing out these flyers. This will be my first semester so I think it will be a great way to get noticed...for better or worse. Oh yeah, what countries does this contest apply to? and is there any additional rules besides the one you already posted?

One of my first questions. Personally, I go to Carleton U in Ottawa Canada, and I'm broke as hell, so this actually intrigued me a little bit. I'm not a hardcore NG'r, but I might be willing to be for this prize money =D
Yeah, this place could really use some intellect. It does get tiring to hear the kiddies trying to out-wit you on the BBS, or seeing crappy "Barney flashes" that are getting 10's from the 13 year olds.

I'm thinking of keeping the focus on college campus, but you don't have to go to school there. So if you know of a campus, you are welcome to go promote there and take pictures. It's tempting to open it up to ANYWHERE, but we can try that some other time. I'll keep the fall / college focus for this contest.

sounds like a grand idea. I am cool on the money front but any other college kids out their should do this. free promotion for NG and you make a nice chunk of change
