Imo, the ideal review should give an overall indication of the movie, suggest at least one point that could be improved/the weakest point (to help the author improve) and point out at least one nice thing (so the author doesn't start feeling it's all bad). Personally though, I'd much rather get a 3 line review pointing out a couple of bad points than a massive one raving on about it. Generally speaking.

no that wasn't funny, even if it was funny, I didn't have the time nor wanton to read the scribbly text, and click on it, who knows maybe this movie is good. I just didn't see it.

This might have been a valid point. Almost ridiculously short, yet poetic in its potency. However, that is until you realise that the point was addressed in the game itself. Still, it's the thought that counts.

Seconded, the sarcastic tone was totally un-needed, he didn't even watch the movie, it pisses me off when people review something that they haven't even watched, since how are you supposed to comment on something you haven't even seen?

Heh, that's what about 20-30% of the reviews are like by people on this site, just utter crap. As for giving low scores and saying they liked it, well that's like someone else we know ;P

Well if I was a flash author and I got an all 0´s review, then I don´t think I would take him seriously since he probably didn´t took the time to take a good look at your flash and just wanted to review for his review count. This guy even admits it himself. He just said it wasn´t funny, well that´s something that´s very hard to improve since everybody has his own sense of humor so I would rate this review almost useless.

I agree with him being confused, I see more people like that who say that they like it and yet they give it a very low score. He should put a bit more thought in his reviews.

This review was better indeed. Gives a couple of ideas, although I think he should´ve made it a bit longer and he should be a bit more specific (or whatever you call that).

A bit of a shame for a guy with nearly 1000 reviews. He should be an example, but this review is pretty bad in my opinion. It´s just too short, I can´t say he put a lot of time in his reviews. He did gave a good point though, that´s the only possitive thing about this review.

I just felt like giving my opinion on those reviews as well =)

I remember at one point that wade said not to give all 0's becuae there are some efforts that the artist does do...

As for Carmels reviews they are ok, it also depends on what the movie was about he could have just aggreeing with what was said in the movie, from a point of someone just looking at a review and getting confused i can see how people with make there opinions of it...

Well, first thing you need to do is make your reviews a bit longer. They're not badThey don't have to be paragraphs (even though they're nice), but 3 or 4 secntences usually does the trick. Also, don't review for the sole purpose of getting on the list, or else a lot of yours will end up deleted anyway, It's nice to see new people that want to contribute, though. If you're not sure how to make them longer, use many of the top 100 list people as a guide (except KWAS)

I've made one review since the last update, I've been really ill recently and I haven't been fit for reviewing, I have a load of flash I wanna get round to reviewing, but I just haven't been in the right state.

Nice update. Kinda surprised that Wayne and KWAS both found time to do 200+ reviews this week. That's not an easy feat. Also surprised at Afro's 1 review. It's nice to see only a little bit of movement. If there was a lot, it would look like peopel were reviewing to try and get ont he list rather than for the sake of reviewing.

I finished doing my 800th review. I'm getting up on the charts slow now, but who knows. Someday I might be on the top 10. My last review my big 800 was about as long as Canas's reviews.
