Because in General it would be full of spam in about 2 seconds. Wi/Ht is about stuff concerning newgrounds. The stats are related to Newgrounds, so stat threads belong in Wi/Ht. ;)

I'm not sure it's a case of arbitrary hatred here, either - the issue is that both myself and Malachy are Review Mods. We're trying to define the line between over-obsessive spam and well thought out reviews.

Actually viewing/playing/listening to the submissions you're reviewing doesn't hurt either. If your reviews are less than a minute apart and you are spewing out dozens in an hour, you clearly can't even be assed to watch what you're reviewing which totally defeats the whole purpose of the review system. I mean, holy crap, how far from the point can you possibly get? And if you aren't even watching the flashes or playing the games how can you possibly offer any tangible advice so that the author may improve at his craft.

You're just as bad as any spam bot as far as the authors are concerned if you are doing this and eventually we'll tire of the barrage of PMs and complaints about what you're doing and simply follow through on what the review guidelines state and just ax all of your crappy reviews and the saddest part is that there wouldn't be any loss to anyone over it except your silly obsession with a statistic you cheated to get.

Heh, I remember I had a bet with Bahamut in 2005 about who was gonna reach 1,000 reviews first. Back then it looked like it was gonna be me, but look at me now... I've been lingering in the 400-600 zone for years now.

Is it me or have most people on the list stopped reviewing as much. For some reason I got a random boost of Motivation to do like 5 or so a day.

So much review deletery for hamy-jamy. I wonder if he'll fall below 4200 before he makes more.

If I remember correctly, he already dropped below 4,000 a few years ago. Then he reviewed his way back up to 4,300 in about one week or so and now he's losing reviews again.

Yeah, you gotta hope old folks like myself get in the reviewing spirit, it'll help the number shoot up even more. I will hit 1000 at some point, I believe. Just... takes some patience. #;-}>

Heh, I remember I had a bet with Bahamut in 2005 about who was gonna reach 1,000 reviews first. Back then it looked like it was gonna be me, but look at me now... I've been lingering in the 400-600 zone for years now.

Heh, tell me about it... Stuck in the 700s longer now than I was stuck in the 600s. And in the 600s I was taking breaks at awesome numbers I love like 636, 642, 654, 666, 678, 690, etc.... there's no such numbers in the 700s, really, so... just laziness this time.

But anywho, with 3 stats over 30k and one over 10k but reviews under 1k... it's a no-brainer. I gotta at least make all my stats 4-digits, so 1000 is a must. Some day. #;-}>

Yes, but it's still annoying how I always have a pace of 1 or 0 when I'm really sure that I wrote more reviews than that. Damn those review deletions!
