Sorry, I accidently pressed post. Anyway, thanks to Metal for another great weekly list, I'd try it if I only had the attention span. I know I will never have more than 100 reviews in a single week again, I just wanted to try to get most weekly reviews written. The sad thing is I was constantly checking Molotov's page to make sure he hadn't written more reviews that was greater than my weekly total. I really do respect you Molotov, I didn't want to steal your thunder or anything, I'm sure I will never come close to your review total.

A real bitch of a week, as I put down about 9 reviews and then watched in dismay as the flashes that I reviewed got removed from the system. Perhaps I'll have a chance to close in on Zouk over the week, but knowing his capabilities for pace, I'll be still in 42nd place this time next week.

I asked sonofkirk if he felt it was necessary. He said he though so and then I asked him to speak to NEVR on it, so that if he agreed, to start a new thread and lock the old one.

At least it draws a line under the old club, which did end in utter chaos and we get to start with a fresh look at the new place. We changed some of the rules as well, so it saves confusion ;)

Well, at the moment, we have a surfeit of Art requests (Surprise, surprise) but the update is scheduled for this morning and we'll see how we go from there.

I used to write reviews without a care in the world but since I've noticed I've gotten on the top 100 I've been putting a bit more effort into them.
I may not be the best reviewer ever but I'm not bad either.
But In my opinion the best reviewers are El-Syd and Molotov.

Reviews are reviews. Most are never read and fall into some dusty corner of the internet.

None of us are professionals, and it's really just a hobby to all of us here. So let's just all agree that our styles and habits all have flaws and advantages :p

To be honest, I'm happier to see the rules evened out that there is no longer any bias towards Audio reviews. If anything, we need more bias towards Flash reviews.

Yeah it should. At the very least we should be able to have access to our own reviews. It's complicated now to check back on submissions we have reviewed to see if the author gave us a response.

I'm always surprised at how big updates like this always seem very incomplete to those of us who care about stats :P Same thing was an issue with audio reviews. You would think putting the reviews in the profile at release would just be common sense :)

Your reviews may not be walls of text, but there are MUCH worse on NG and considerably "worse" than you in the top 100, to be frank. I wont mention any names, but there have been some users that I was hesitant to add to this list in the past due to the blatant lack of effort displayed in their reviews. I'll just say that you weren't one of those.

But In my opinion the best reviewers are El-Syd and Molotov.

One of the many reasons I love the RRC. The artists there are looking for constructive criticisms and are very grateful for the reviews they receive.

Well, at the moment, we have a surfeit of Art requests (Surprise, surprise) but the update is scheduled for this morning and we'll see how we go from there.

I really don't think your reviews ar bad, IamWeird. You have shown great progress. Your first reviews definately lack some elaboration and such, but it seems like now you include many different aspects in your reviews. But seriously, the argument about writing all of these "crappy" reviews should end.

But I do have to stick with Molotov on Ray80's reviews. I am totally contradicting what I said above, but he does something I really hate. He gives a submission something less than a perfect score and doesn't say what the author needs to improve on. I sound like a nerd about this, but I find that as a way similar to +1 posting. Granted, I started out that way, my orignal reviews are terrible, but Ray80 has seen other reviews from members on this list, he has to realize the lack of information his reviews contain.

To whoever said it above, I agree that El-Syd and Molotov are some of the best reviewers on this site. I use some of the attributes that they put in their reviews. They model what good reviews should be, I also think the members of the Review Request Club, i.e. Corky and Coop, write polite and well thought out reviews. I try to write as much as I can about a flash so the author doesn't have any questions after they read my review.

Anyway, conditioning for football started at my high school so I'm going to be busy again for the next couple of weeks, so I'll try to stop by and check out what's happening here on occasion. It looks like Ericho could be reaching up in the higher ranks soon, he keeps up a constant review pace and his reviews are moderately well written. Alright, keep up the good work reviewers!

I know a couple updates ago I was talking about moving these to later in the day. But since I now get my paycheck on Fridays, I am able to in turn cash it on Saturday. The bank is only open 'til noon, so I have to stay up. :\
Figured I'd inform you all as to why I'm still posting the updates in the morning.
