Not at all - I haven't even mentioned your name in the Mod forums - we have far worse cases of bad reviewers to deal with. If people want to flag your reviews, then that's up to them. If Review mods decide that they are abusive and delete them, that is also up to them, although this is determined by the review guidelines.

Sure, we do talk to each other about certain reviews. However at the moment, it's mostly bitching about having 200+ flagged reviews to clear out at any one given time.

Ohhh review discussions cool. glad to see coop a mod though, he seems to be more fair on stuff and not just favor oneside.

I've managed to pass ramagi! Oh the honour. I speak of course now as the review moderator with the most reviews. Now to push that bar up nice and high, so that any other people who wish to take this off me have to do some serious work.

Still, 8 reviews is a decent pace, made to look quite flattering, considering that I've put all of those reviews down over the past 3 days. Perhaps I can take that recent days' pace to greater heights and make some gains.

Looks like Aznime thinks he can get away from me. Perhaps, but I'll concentrate on getting up there over the next week.

Well I hate to say it....
But I don't even like the way he writes his reviews.
He considers 7 to be a really good score.
And sometimes he judges a movie on its filesize.

Well each to his own opinion, thats cool, but yes a 7-8 are really good for me while a 4 is ok but not great, i dont really rate anything below that with a few exceptions

i might rate some really indepth stuff a 9-10 but it all depends on the amount of detail, story and effort i see from that flash,

as for size yeah thats a little thing of mine that i try and suggest smaller size allowing more users to view and see there work, a small file size may be anywhere from 1kb to 2.5 mb while a 3 mb it starts to get big, and once its in there past the 5 mb's its seems to be abit silly in most cases

So do I, I can't see giving a decent stick flash movie a 10 justified - all reviewers have their own style and vice versa

hehe well thats just the thing i dont rate any movie/game just on one area, the size thing is just one portion i may suggest to lower it or cute it in two parts only for the reason that not all viewers have fast connections and such.

but no i dont base a review all on one area such as size.

Like I said via PM, I've been tracking down a lot of users hoping to get the missing user in the Top 300 B/P and considering the amount of people I have, I thought I'd be helpful by letting you know of any users with 500+ flash reviews. Reviewer Milestones

Personally, I don't see this as much of a milestone. When you have over 10,000 reviews, every 100 reviews you make doesn't seem to be as significant as it would be if you have less than 2,000 reviews. It's like B/P'ing where every 1,000 you obtain when you have over 100,000 already doesn't seem to be that big anymore.

That's just my thought on that milestone mention.

That actually is a good point and is one in which I had been giving some thought, as of late. When I first incorporated the "milestones" section into my updates, someone suggested having it be every 100 reviews, like what is congratulated in the LUL, so that's what I adopted in turn...
What do you guys think would be a good formula? I'd purpose something like:

10,000 or more = every 1,000 reviews
1,000-9,999 = every 500 reviews
999 or less = every 100 reviews

If anybody has anything to add, or any comments, feel free to speak up, I'd like to hear them. That's probably what I'm going to go by, at this point.

There are things in the portal over 10 MB that are really good and you can see why the movie is so big (we shouldn't forget that Tom still has to allow flashes over 10 MB to be posted).
But there are flashes in the portal which are over 5MB and contain nothing but a bit text and one song.
In those cases I give a lower score, because it's pretty easy to reduce the filesize of the song (there's no need to have it at 320 kbps for example, 96 is enough for a flash) and the text itself only takes up a few kb of the filesize.

I've been caught off guard with that quite a few times, the comment about filesize stems from seeing flash with a fifteen or twenty attached to its filesize :/
IMO there's no need for a flash to be that big, how hard is it to cut it down and have a part 1, 2 or 3?

A review here and there will garner a nice round number after a couple of months, and then you can a part of the reviewing scene like most of us here :)
It's a good stat to boost up as its a good way to contribute back to the newgrounds community.
