Right, that's it from me. No more GoreBastard tracks. I'm sick of fucking zero voters shitting on my music, without even listening to it. Damn, if people want to beat the competition, they should learn to play their fucking instruments, not shit on tallented musicians. Thunder Storm is the last GoreBastard track. Obviously I will still respond to reviews, but no new songs. After reading over 400 reviews for my songs, I realize that I'm good enough to be in a fulltime kick ass metal band. I should concentrate more on a real band than making music on my shitty computer. I'm not posting this for attention or sympathy or any of that bollocks. I just think it's about time someone else took my throne as "Number 1 Heavy Metal Artist". Thanks to everyone who helped me out, and gave constructive/uplifting reviews.

Look out for GoreBastard albums in your local music stores. I can guaran-fucking-tee that I will make it in the heavy metal industry. Later dudes.

Well, I can understand you. Making Music in a band is very different in the opposit of making it alone.

To be honest though, I'm starting to get pretty tired of making music, because I keep fucking up all the time. I get reviews from people saying that my quality is shit, leads are shit, and all that shit. My music doesn't get recognised much, I haven't had a new review for a few days now (maybe it's because I haven't submitted anything new, but hey) zero-voters pound heaving piles of shit on my music, half of my music is under3.00/5.00 - and also I don't think I'll be submitting again until I get a laptop or new computer in my garage, where I can be private. Right now, I'm recording in my dining room!!

But yeah, It'll be great to hear your future band, Gore. That'll kick-ass.

Well you did forget yourself I don't care what you say you would be up for the throne long before I would.I have trouble making full songs which is something I plan on improving.I'm going to work on becoming a better songwriter and musician for a while and hopefully make a band.

I've been on here for nearly a year and experienced the same shit u have. Move on, there are loads of good music sites out there that will cater for your needs, as for advertising the fact u are leaving, hmmm, i'm sure u will be sorely missed, but stop bitching, if ure music is good enough, ( i've listened to a fair amount of it and it's pretty good) then it will gain recognition on sites that count.This site sux for anything audio related and is not meant to be anything to do with music, so who really gives a fuk if some little pre-pubescant twat votes 0 on your stuff. You are a pretty good artist tho gorebastard -however - don't expect me to bow down to anyone here - I have earned the right to look at anyone here - including paragonX9 - as a collegue musically.

I'm completely with Speedmetal here, Gore is never forgotten to me, I consider him a good friend aswell. Gore's music will always be at the top, because they are so strong, hardly any of his new stuff goes off the first page. He is too respected by all of us to be forgotten. I don't actually know anybody who doesn't like Gore's music and admits to it. Gore is the king. Hail the king.

Cheers dudes. As usual I was drunk when I wrote this post, but I still meant it though. Also, like I said, I'll still be here, but I won't be submitting stuff. Maybe once every blue moon I'll make something, I don't know. But I wanna concentrate on bigger things. My life is all over the place, I work a shitty job, only finishing at 1:00am, and even working hours like that it's hard to keep on top of bills, loans, car bullshit etc. As soon as I get a job with decent hours (or win the lottery!) I will start/join a band.

Also, theblackhawk, yes, I'm still gonna do the online band thing. I'm commited to that!

Also, like I said in the first post, I didn't post this for sympathy or attention, I just wanted to let my buddies know why I'm not gonna be making music for this site anymore, I mean, I have like 60 odd songs. That's enough!

ALSO! I know I complain about zero voters alot, but I should shut my fucking mouth, because like FlameMesial said, alot of my songs are on the first page, so I must have done something right!!!

Well... although I know you said you aren't leaving, I'm still pretty sad to hear that there will no more GoreBastard tracks on NG. But personally, I don't blame you. You're way over Newgrounds, and I think it's best that you're moving on. You could get fucking rich by joining a band and selling albums. In fact, you've really inspired me to get better at guitar and submit shit to newgrounds.

As for the new heir to the throne, I think everyone in FlameMesial's list are worthy candidates, and FlameMesial himself. Don't let a lack of confidence get in your way, FlameMesial. Even if your quality isn't as great as others and you get shitty reviews from dipshits who have no musical talent themselves, you're still pretty kickass.

After today...im seriously considering following in Gorebastards steps.

I've been on the AP for...over 2 years...and it hasn't really gotten me too far. I should be concentrating more of my effort into things which are going to get me a bit more...recognition. I sound like an ass when I say that...like...I've had thousands of downloads. But it's not enough if you know what I mean.

For those of you who don't know, for the past 4 or 5 months i've actually been part of a flash team (http://www.joint-productions.com), handling the music side of flash for the rest of the guys. We're starting to move on to commission based work, so hopefully that means a bit of money.

Also, I signed up with soundclick...and in less than a day I'd risen up to number thirty in the extreme metal charts (beating deeds of flesh! :O). I've started getting emails from people wanting to promote my music and get me in contact with some of the bigger names in the metal industry. People are also starting to get interested in my guitar and drum production work.

At the end of the year me and my guitarist (in a band separate from newgrounds) were going to set up a recording studio, but it's looking like that might happen sooner.

So yeah, i'll stick around here, but my submissions will be few and far between...if any.

Holy shit, that's amazing. Deeds of Flesh are one of my favourite death metal bands. Their first album "Trading Pieces" was fucking brutal, but I think they kinda went a little down hill after that though.

Anyway, congratulations, that's really amazing news. I wish you the best of luck dude, but I'm pretty sure you won't need it.
