I would join and help with a protect's club but not for the reasons ur givin. I would cuz there are a lotta ppl voting 0's on movies that they havnt viewed and that are at least 2's.
So yeah I'd join. Just tell me what you have lined up and stuff.

But no to over simplify the task at hand, if you've clicked the footer link (there's now a wOOt topic also) then you'd see the need for direct intervention, ie. small teams adding help files to other ppls flash, upgrading flash4 or 5 to flash6 in some cases, providing generic A-Scripts (like component preloaders) for new NG members, offering the best suggestions for NG's general further improvement (even doing some free coding/design/debugging/testing, etc, for liljim if any is ever needed) *AND* finding and writing quality reviews when (as you put it) some innocent designer is getting gang-banged by Blam-Club for no particular good reasons.
What could be more exciting than rivalry to spark us into ever greater success (actually my profile quote says pretty much the same thing!) Currently we have 4 members, a dot com (kustomzone.com) which is looking for new hosting! an ikonboard.cgi forum also requiring more than 10Megs hosting! ..a spaceports account which has been very reliable, and a lot of coding skillz (html, cgi, and AS) so that isn't the issue (btw, that's why this topic exists in the programming section)
..so all we NEED is to pin down the basic design / intent / and make an intro movie about such design / intent ..so more ppl will contribute their precious time and energies! (prolly made this sound too hard again :)
I'm presonally sold on the robot/space themes (Club vrs Clan rivalry as you rightly put it) which would appear on the face of it to be a rip-off of the JEDI forces of good and evil of Star Wars fame. I mean Holy Shit! Most countries actually have wide popular support to make JEDI and official religion (in the real-World by Census and Statistical Representation) but "NOT SURPRISINGLY" politicians are against the whole concept (..and we're meant to be concerned with our own employment?!)
