So did everyone basically flee this BBS for a few of the NG fan site BBSs? I see old posters on other boards, but almost never here anymore. Every time I stop in now, it seems like there is nothing interesting to read and the threads are all about the same things and people who don't know anything about the NG mechanics complaining about how things work around here when what they are complaining about isn't even how things operate.

I barely come here any more. I just go to the portal and vote on some movies to get my experience points. Although, ever since they made the new voting system, I haven't been able to post my points since a little while ago. The BBS just got boring, thats why I went to the CC BBS because the people I knew went there and figured I would just go there since most other people on this board are just retarded. Although there are alot of retarded posts on the CC BBS, but they have cooler options there. If I ever finish my games I am working on, I might start posting here again. To promote shit and what not.

Years of neglect has killed this BBS because the proportion of people who used the BBS were insignificant compared to the total Newgrounds. The NG Staff obviously did not consider the NG BBS important enough to support and when moderation came in it came in inappropriately and too late.

So no, I don't think anyone really visits here anymore.

I can remember coming here about 2 years ago, when I didn't know how to sign up. The BBS actually had some intelligent people on it, nowadays, the majority of posters have an I.Q of below 50 and are either

(b) Newbies.

Despite the promises made, Wade is full of sound and fury but signifies nothing. Wade every once in a great while decides to do something for a day at his brother's website and then goes back to picking his nose. A good deal of people I used to originally see here left since the bbs has long been unmoderated while shit was going on. These same people put up with the bbs back when it would crash for hours or days (not like that still doesn't occasionally happens).You have to overly rascist or something similar to get deleted. This usually happens after someone emails Tom about it. I'm sure Wade is good a making undressing games, but we all know where the real talent in the family resides.

Yeah that basically sums it up. Both the BBS and Portal are pretty much worthless. I can't really speak for how things were before I started coming here, but all I know is that in the time that I HAVE been around, things have been shitty. Hopefully, the shittiness isn't my fault.

I think unity is the answer...I've said for awhile new people should be treated more fairly and encouraged to contribute intelligently (but some of them just wanna flame but they go away in the end anyhow). Leaving the BBS can solve nothing, as I said, if all the smart people jump ship then the flammers rule and the BBS dies (and the portal and the site along with it) the answer is that people just try to keep posting intelligent topics and debates, and other intelligent people keep them alive (possibly we even need to delve into the back pages of the BBS and revive some of those older topics) the only way to combat the stupidity is to band together and MAKE it go away.

I posted a suggestion instead of just complaining and sitting on my thumbs, NG is starting to really undergo a renassaince I think, with the voting and aura systems modified the portal is getting cleaned and some of the more virulent flammers are trying to improve their images...things are looking up I think...I'm a mark for people having fun around here and being able to post intelligent stuff without getting flammed, if you want to have intelligent debates then you have to start them is all I'm saying.
