Viewtiful Joe would be PERFECT. His combat system already works in the same way anyways. He would be amazing.

It wouldnt be any different though because none of us will be able to do shit with that controller. I will have to plug in the gamecube one.

i, being a devoted nintendo fan for about a decade now would love to see such characters as:-
Pikmin- There could be thousands of pikmin clambered ontop of each other to form one pikmin the size of the other ninty characters (as they are only as big as half of a Gamecube disc)
Diddy Kong- A smaller, faster, yet weaker version of Donkey Kong, he would be like luigi is to mario, with the majority of same moves but minor differences.
Baby Bowser- Again with only minor differences to King Bowser
The Hand- I would love to play as the floating hand you fight at the end of classic mode
That giant bowser that you fight against in the final event- I cant remember his name:(
Banjo Kazooie- Yeah, hes from rare but hes only ever been on nintendo games and he was as famous as Link and Mario back in the day, plus we all know nintendo are always full of surprises
Deku/Zora/Goron Links- Those forms were so cool im surprised i didnt see them in ssbm
King K.Rool- Maybe just as an alternative bowser costume, hes not that great
Ridley-Theyve shown him in the opening of ssbm and on the metroid level, you can tell hes desperate to fight
Slippy Toad- Although annoying he deserves a chance to get slaughtered by the rest of nintendo
Leon, Jill, Chris and Barry- They are for nintendo, FULL STOP!!!

Well thats about it for characters, Im all for that level designer but theres nothing specific that i want, i can beat anyone on any level, no problem.

I enjoy looking through my 250 odd trophies and dont think they can get any better.

You may not mention this in the list of improvements but i would love to have more items, like a longer lasting giant mushroom or maybe a homing rocket launcher, or even Fox McClouds magic staff and the Biggoron sword, those things were cool...oh oh oh and the megaton hammer.

Im gettin carried away now but i would love different types of versus modes aswell, like giant vs normal character, just matches which give advantages to just one character would be cool, this would allow my victims to land a hit on my mario before he killed them.

Anyway im drooling now so i best leave it at that. Enjoy!!

How about Metal Mario, He's been on the both smash bro games, but he's still not a playable character....ANother good fighting stage would be the Space Pirate Ship from Metroid Prime

I just would like to point out that some people are requesting non-nintendo characters, i'd just like to say nintendo can't put in characters like megaman or sonic cos then they'd get sued. UNLESS they asked permission first.

First of all, his name is Pit, not Kid Icarus. Also, I'm pretty sure that Nintendo has officially anounced that he will be in SSBR, along with Wario and Toad. Those three are for sure. And, Nintendo now owns the rights to Geno and Mallow from Super Mario RPG, so you can bet they'll be making appearances as well.
