It never happened to me when I had braces, but it does happen a lot. Call the orthodontist and he'll make an appointment to fix them right up.

You have braces, ha ha. Just kididng, I had them too but I hated them with a passion and it's all good in the end. Make an app with your dentist to get a little fixer-upper.

I have these 2 coils in the back of my mouth (one on each side) and they pull the wire to make it all tight and such (which means I don't get my braces tightened, it r00lz). I broke off one of the coils.
Why am I suddenly reminded of the whole dental plan segment from the Simpsons.

Braces. Suck.
I'm currently on the retainer stage of my treatment, but at least now I can eat whatever the heck I want. With braces, I had to avoid hard foods like carrots and corn-on-the-cob for two years just to play it safe.
Anyway, I hope you get your braces fixed soon, DashDingo, and I hope you learned your lesson - next time, eat Raisin Bran :)

Those actually suck pretty bad. You can still see them clearly, and your teeth look big and uncleaned. And they cost like 4 X normal braces.
