hi everyone.

In case you didnt notice - my music posting have become less and less frequent - and I havent submitted anything since my key of the twilight song.

Thats because that song made me heavily look back on all my sogns and realize on how much of an amateur ive been - I just cant so sub-par songs anymore and I don't have the vocals to make amazing songs like the last one.

If anyone wants to provide me with either female acapellas or female singers (wesern or j-pop) I can make some incredible music

as it stands tho I can't keep making the crap ive been producing.

You help me and I will continue - if not im just gonna stop making music altogether.

You guys disappoint me. Not only because you guys make great music and it seems like you've put a stop to it but because your not looking at all your options. I remember posting awhile back, on how i was searching for a female vocalist, there was no such person. So instead, i thought, maybe i should use acapellas? Im sure with the programs you have, you should be able to take parts of it and use them. I did that, i went on limewire and got some great stuff. I'm making this song based on my "Loaded" loop, with a few vocals and hopefully i'll add tupac's voice in the mix.

You guys need to use all your options, even if they're not the best. I can understand how hard it can be to find those vocals, but it's worth the try isn't it?

you DO know that you guys could just...do some sentence lyrics?
it adds funk to the songs.
of course if you really, REALLY wanna do lyrics, i suggest make your own. dont....do so many remakes of an accapella.

btw man....ill look on the net for some shit 4 ya, since well...i kinda of respect u and b0unc3, so ill see what i can do.

I'm actually really interested in J-Pop singing. ^^; Would you like me to record something for you as an example (like My Will by Ayumi Hamasaki), or do you have something specific in mind?

Which is the reason i just emailed liljim to remove some of my audio :P.

I had some text for a song i made but i never got the actual acapella.

Btw if you dl acapellas of the net do you really have the right to remix it?As far as i'm concerned, the original artist has to approve of it, or else he/she could sue ur ass for copyright violations. Also keep in mind that by submitting here you make "LEGAL CLAIM" that it's your work.Which could also set ur ass on fire if you don't have been approved :/

Dood, your music is great, don't worry about scores and downloads and all that stuff, your life doesn't evolve around Newgrounds, surely. I say, you are not an amateur.

Crying for attention, or fishing for compliments?

Your music is not crap dude, and why do you have to limit yourself to working with vox only? I remember showing you one of my .flp's, and you ripped up my usage of fx, hehe. You are not bad at producing music at all, I mean look at glistle! and the chrononounce song.

A person isn't the best judge of their music. You'll always be trying to find more ways to improve it. I'm like that with my music. That's why I haven't submitted in a while, because I feel that I'm not playing/recording to the best of my ability.

Abit of retail therapy might help ;D. Go buy yourself a new music toy :)

hrmm.. *reads posts*

Allright - I have carefully taken into consitderation all that all of you have said:

kagome - I have tons of projects for you to work on musically - sadly I cannot afford to pay anyone so I felt that I wouldnt be able to get anyone to sing for me. I am just really curious as to how GOOD you can sing - if you are amazing - like Chiaki Ishikawa, then i might suggest you sing THIS - this is a song that I am dying to do next.

These are others that I would like to do:

welcome to the twilight, under the moon (.hack)

fake wings(.hack)

radical dreamers - without taking the jewel (chrono cross - english or japanese, pref. english)

if you still believe (legend of dragoon)

INVOKE! (gundam seed - english would be kewl, doesnt have to be sung in same vocal way)

believe (gundam seed - I think you would do very well with this song)

and thats about all of them for now kagome - hope that keeps you busy! :P lyrics can be found just by googling the anime name and song name or just ask me and I'll find them for you.

as for everyone else - basically starting this topic was a forced win win for me - either I stop making music with the last song being one of the best songs ive made thus far and am known (and perhaps immortalized :P) for never stagnating musically wise - or I actually get RESULTS this way and can thus still make amazing music for all of you to hear.

I confess that I do tend to be a perfectionist - and thus see flaws in everything I do - very rarely do I ever submit a song totally satisfied with it. Mostly I submit it because my computer cannot take anymore. I would use Reason more but it doesnt support tempo changes and that really hurts a lot of my songs..

and ryeguyhead - the most fans? Hahaha and I havent even submitted my flash yet - i'm sure paragon had more fans than i - or even ragevi and evil_dog, but I appreciate the comment nonetheless! Maybe its because really none of my songs are really the same - so I never get stuck in a category and are expected to do the same things over and over (coughs) - also ryeguy - that comment hurt - perhaps subconsciously thats one of the reasons why I never told you.. I still have testicles asshole they are just wired differently.

and admiral - I was doing neither - stop trying to make me look bad. When I compare it to other ppls professional stuff it DOES sound like crap to me.. as for those 2 songs.. well I wanna do more than that. I'm glad you liked them - even tho tons of ppl tore up what was bad about them..

as for removing any of my audio - no thanks - my mistakes are bare for all to see - once it reaches 300 i'll just shut it off rename it and turn it into a vault account and spawn another chronamut account and start from there.

and poetic reven - listen to the songs i provided for kagome - if she is unable to do any of those i'd appreciate having any of those - for now.

and I write my own lyrics - sadly i dont like using male vocals - I prefer female vocals as my songs are more ambiant sounding. Talking vocals is an idea but can only go so far and is usually good as a background to actual vocals..

ya see the vocals that i've been able to find on limewire have been less than satisfactory for me - I dotn just stick in random stuff to make a techno like song - I want full strucured stuff - and I cannot find any of that. Thanks for the idea tho allen

and erkie - maybe you are right - heck there were times in the past where i stopped submitting for entire MONTHS - talent is like a well - you cannot tap it all the time - one reason I would never want to do this as a job - the demand would suck me dry in a matter of months - maybe I just have to wait for the well to fill up again. I stopped drawing because of the same thing.

And piepie - you just need to actually TRY - dont be satisfied with the skills you currently have - try to make yourself better. The perfect evolution is the worst stagnation that mankind can ever endure.

And ya B0UNC3 I know you are sorta in the same position as me - maybe we'll just wait it out..

thank you all for your comments - sorry if I missed anyone. I do still want help from all of you tho.

I was just referring to those as recent songs where you have not made crap. And if you compare yourself to a professional, that point is moot because they get paid and have the money and resources to create the things they do. They devote their entire life to making their stuff. And I wasn't trying to make you look bad... just saying that you have lots and lots of fans, more than any of the people that have posted in this topic, except for maybe B0UNC3. You get so many downloads and reviews... I don't know, all I'm saying is that I am envious of you. I envy your longevity, your fanbase, your success, your musical talent, your patience... And it just seems like you might take it for granted with posts like this.

I reckon u should take the time you worry about what people think and spend that time making your own music. You are talented, you are good at what you do, just stop looking for recognition and reassurance and start doin it. I don't understand why you have such an issue with your confidence, just write some music and if you like it, then who gives a fuck. Stop whining, make music.
