Yeah, that would be a lot better than a 2D plastic sign saying Newgrounds on it, I can just imagine the NG tank like that now... heh :)

Very nice interview Tom and Dan.

I loved reading what you have to say, and it was both insightful and informative. You have some interesting points.

*Fingers are crossed for you guys* :)

That was a lot of reading. My eyes hurt. :(

It was pretty interesting though, I think the author could have put a little more of his opinions in, because it was pretty packed with interviews. Nothing too new but it was nice to see how you and Dan thought about the topics discussed.

All companies has fountains in their office.

Oh and like in hotels and lots of places, there are these brochours (spelling?) things, NG office should have one some copies too, so passangers could take a look..

Heh, true. The whole thing was 3 big interviews...if not more.

But interviews work, it gets the opinion of people that are directly related to the topic of discussion. So I guess it's alright.

You'd probably need an intern for that sort of stuff.

Hi.

This sounds really exciting. I know you've been dreaming of a NG Haus for ages now, but I think you're cheating yourself by referring to the office as an office. Think about it, which sounds cooler, NG Haus, or NG Office Building? I'd go for Haus any day. Office building just brings to mind the movie Office Space, and I think I'd stop coming here if the image of you saying "Um.... yyyeaaa, I'm gonna have to go ahead and ask you to come in on, Sunday too, yeaaaa." ever became a reality. :-)

Seriously, good luck with everything. I hope the roof checks out fine, and everything else works fine in the building.

Yeah, I need to stop calling it the office. I might just start calling it the Newgrounds Design Center, since that is what I might name the building. So I could say "at the DC" or the "NGDC". N - G - D - C has a nice ring to it.

Would you allow NG fans to take tours of the building, or tell them to take a hike?

NGDC sounds better. It makes it sound like a big rich company or something.

Why a sign? Get an old tank, paint it yellow and plonk it in front of the building.

Put a tank in the center of the building, give it a rotating turret and put a security camera in the gun on the tank, make it follow movement, so the tank is always pointed at you.

NGDC has a nice ring to it, heh..

The interview was good too, everyone that he interviewed had a good view. That Mat Dickie has some cool looking games too, very simple but really good ideas.. I'm gonna go check some of his demos out :)

I hope everything goes well with the office and the new game. It would be cool to decorate the place with statues of Wade and Bedn.

I would never hurt my daughter, I just really want to.

That sounds good to me, anything that sounds similar to office, because it implies a complete and total chore, instead of anything fun or exciting. NGDC does sound much better and does have a nice ring to it, plus, "at the DC" makes it sound like Washington, so you can sound important when you say "Well, I was working on my latest programming effort down in the DC the other day."

It'll be cool anyway.

Still interested, just haven't been prioritizing. :)

Yeah I guess you're busy enough between the office, and programming. Maybe I'll stop whoring myself to promote the idea and actually do somthing productive. If the office works out, will random people be allowed in to meet the crew?

Good interview.
I had no idea that half a million individuals a day visited the site each day. That is insane. I don't think most cable shows get views like that. I did not realize how popular the site was, but Iam glad for it.
I hope the office turns out as good as you hope.

I think it should be called NG HQ or something with the word headquarters in it. It is more relative to the whole tank theme already established in the logo. My two cents.

Anyways are you going to have a grand opening party or gala of some sort... you should. i am out of beer.
